Fram is a well known reputable brand. The upgraded versions of each Fram line are worth the money and better than dealer OEM. Don't buy cheaper brands that splay and fray paper fibers damaging your car engine. Change yearly.

. . . getting too much air . . . got a dip in power, then a surge in power when getting up to speed on the interstate. Disconnected the neg batt cable for 1 hour, reconnected, then went for a drive, took a little while but the computer learned and adjusted the mass air flow to match.

This was a good replacement for my 2022 Camry Hybrid LE. It fit pretty well, although was a little tighter fit than the OEM due to a thicker gasket around the edge. This filter does not have as many pleats and will therefore need to be changed more frequently. I got 63,000 miles from the OEM and dealership said I could go a little longer but should change it soon so I ordered this one. It was $21 for an OEM online so opted the Fram Extra Guard. I expect to get 15-20K from this filter. Pleased with it so far!

Such poor manufacturing. This has to be a knock off from Fram. The amount of material around the air filter reduces the amount of air that can be brought into the engine resulting in poor performance.
