It may take some getting used to. I’ve been struggling with depression which has led to deconditioning and my legs have been very uncomfortable. These leg pumps cause me to feel more comfortable and relaxed. I really love them! I keep the intensity at 4 and the heat at 2. I use the foot and leg selection together. If you do just the feet, it feels like too much and I don’t like it. My only complaints are that the cord can fall out of the remote, they only pump for 20 minutes so you have to keep restarting them, and the cord isn’t longer. Other than that, these are wonderful! Don’t hesitate to get them!
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for circulation issues
So I have circulation issues in my feet and calves especially after I run or workout. I saw this product had good reviews. I thought I would try I was a bit skeptical. WOW! It gives great pressure even on the lowest setting. The heating setting is nice as well. Thumbs up
4.0 out of 5 stars Quality and features of more expensive units
I'm comparing this to what I experienced during a hospital stay, and it works just as well or better. The 'massage' feature on these type of units, apparently can call it a 'massage' even though it's just compression/release cycles, not actually massaging. Anyone new to these expecting the 'massage' to feel like hands rapidly squeezing, & releasing muscles will be disappointed, as they don't work that way.I wanted a device that would allow me to max the compression just short of pain for maximum circulation, and these allow that, and much milder, if that's all you want. You can opt to just massage your feet, or just massage your calves, or both with a nice range of heat settings.A reviewer complained that they didn't like the controls, but they are very simple once you learn to pay attention to the graphic that clearly shows what you've selected. For example, the intensity levels are shown with bars, so every time you bump up the intensity, another bar is show.Thee modes are basically just foot, calf, or both simultaneously and multiple presses of the mode button cycles through the modes while showing you the graphic in the tiny screen of what you selected. Very simple once you try it.Comparing different makes of these, it appears they shut off after about 15-20 min. to keep the units from overheating. I wish the cycles lasted longer, as I can sit for an hour or more at one time and would like the massage to last at least an hour, if I choose. The controllers on these can be noisy, if you wanted to fall asleep with this on, but laying a big, heavy pillow over it solved that for me. This one isn't terribly noisy, but it does made a constant low tone buzzing while it's working. My only real complaint on this one is that I'd have like the calf length to be another inch higher, as this stops about an inch short of covering the top of my calf. It may still be working just fine as it is, so it's a very miner complaint. The control unit comes just about to my hip (I'm almost 6') and it would have been better made if the cables were longer since if I'm laying flat, there is no way I can bring the controller to near face level if I needed to to clearly see the controller screen. Luckily my vision is fine, and I'm sitting mostly where the controller is closer, but longer cables would have served to remedy this flaw for those who need things close to their face to see small images.
5.0 out of 5 stars These are my daily routine
I have issues with my legs and feet and these help me with the pain.
5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!
I am on my feet all day. Even with orthotics, my legs hurt I also need a knee replacement. I felt relief after the first time. The swelling went down. The pain subsided. I had to do some adjustments but I did get it to a comfortable pressure. It was easy to use. I highly recommend it
3.0 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware!
I really like these leg compressors. But buyer beware that you will probably get a used set when you order them. I bought one set and returned it because they were used so Bolo replaced the first set with a second set and the second set was used too they work well they do the job, but I’m just saying buyer beware Because you just may get a used set!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great product
Great relief
4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use but not sure
I have chemotherapy induced neuropathy and drop foot in my right leg only which results in extensive swelling. I have been seeing a physical therapist familiar with chemo induced traumas and we have come to an impasse about swelling because it is not fluid but a neuropathic response. He recommended a pressure sleeve for my foot and calf (which we tried in his office). The massager arrived today. It was neatly and well packed in a box. There are two massager sleeves, one for the right foot and one for the left. The are marked as such. The control with the inflation motor is large and heavy but easy to handle and manage. The air inflation tubes attached to the sleeves are heavy duty and will not detach without very rugged use. The instructions for use are simple. The sleeves are made of a nylon like material on the outside and a more comfortable material on the inside. DO NOT try to walk in them or you will slide.I have large calves and the swelling on the right makes one even larger. This massager is not sized but I took a chance on it given that it included two expanders. The entire top of the foot and the front of the calf opens up. Place your foot and leg in the appropriate sleeve, pull the sides across and fasten them with the substantial Velcro tabs. The sleeves were a little bulky on my foot in particular, but I think if I play with the adjustments they will fit better. The sleeves actually fit my calves better. Two expanders completely cover both my calves when they are closed. My swollen calf was a challenge, but the extender provided sufficient circumference. The Velcro on the expanders attached easily and is very strong.I plugged the massager in, set the control on a medium setting with heat and spent 20 minutes enjoying the pressure changes. The massager turns off after 20 minutes automatically.I am not sure how this will work for me because I did not see a swelling reduction, but it may take several more sessions before I can be sure. I have no doubt it will help some who have fluid-based swelling, but each person will have to decide.
Very bad
