I bought 1 each of the Smoke Trap+, Smoke Buddy, VonSploof, Sploofy & the SMOKE TRAP+ is EASILY THE BEST OF ALL bcuz it is the ONLY filter of the four to address the moisture clogging filter problem & its does it VERY well which means the filter will last whereas ALL the others definitely do NOT. The smoke buddy jr i bought was clogged due to moisture in only a few days. With the Smoke Trap+ moisture wicking system as i call it you can simply wipe the moisture out which collects inside the top mouth piece part with a papertowel after you are done smoking for awhile. DEFINITELY 5 STARS!! GREATLY APPRECIATE the ingenuity of someone very smart for solving the moisture problem that constantly plagues every other personal smoke filter on the market!!

And it's a big BUT. First off, it works very well and the quality couldn't be any higher. The screen is what I never got right with DIY. It stops moisture from clogging the filter so it will last longer. How long? Well, I'm still using the first one I bought 6 months ago so longer than you'd want to use it. I just want to see how long it can go, but who knows what's growing in there.So the screen does the job and that's part of the BUT. It blocks my hot breath so well that I have to take it apart, spray it with alcohol, and dry it quite often. It's good because it blocks all that moisture and if you're smoking isn't back-to-back then it'll dry out on its own a few times before whatever you're smoking clogs the screen. It's perfect for this type of use. If you're vaping or smoking a cigarette, you need to dry it after blowing through it about 4 times. If you don't it's going to cave in and drip down into the filter. Then it won't stop any moisture until you dry it. Smoking a cigarette isn't practical because, by the time you dry it, your cigarette will burn up. If all you're doing is vaping, then the 2 or 3 minutes to clean won't be that big of a deal. If you're busy, however, it will take you away from what you're doing far too often which is why I'm using a different brand for this type of use.The other half of the But is the mouthpiece. It may be fine for some but I ended up hating it over time. I won't name their competitors, so I'll just say I prefer putting the hole in my face over putting my face in the hole because that's what it feels like. You get blowback and with your lips trapped inside with the smoke, they absorb the smoke and you don't have the pressure to keep it from blowing back into your mouth leaving a bad taste. It's also so easy to blow through, which is more of a good thing than bad, that it's hard to blow all of the smoke through. If that doesn't make sense to you, grab a paper towel roll, stick your lips in it, and blow. It's easy no matter how hard you blow due to no resistance but put your hand on the other side and you won't feel much air being forced out. So what happens is you have smoke leak out of the mouthpiece substantially more than a smaller mouthpiece does. If you need to get rid of it, you have to blow the rest through which means x2 the moisture and cleaning the screen more often.In conclusion, the brand I'll continue to use isn't better than this one as far as quality and performance. Smoke Trap is the best one I've used and the first one I'd highly recommend. I'm choosing a different one for its comfort and convenience.

Smoke buddy is hot garbage compared to this thing. I vape on a smoking prohibited college campus and I would maybe get a hundred Puffs out of a smoke buddy before the moisture would just fuse the filter. Other times I would get ones that clogged immediately. Not sure how it works with actual smoke but probably still better. This thing has good filters screens for the moisture and parts of the filter are even replaceable. You can tell immediately when you get this, how much better it is.

Es funktioniert bei mir gut. Ich nutze den Smoketrap für mein Vaporisator mighty+. Er reinigt die Luft, die man da reinpustet.Ich puste da immer sehr kräftig rein. Es ist meiner Meinung nach besser dann. Und man übt noch ein wenig seine Lunge:-)Materialwert hat geschätzt paar Euros. Kunststoffform außen, innen ein Kartonrohr mit einem Stück „Filter/Watte“ und Karton/Aktivkohle.Es funktioniert. ist praktisch, und passt in jede Tasche easy rein. Man darf halt aufpassen, der der vapor nicht von selber Rauch abgibt. Am besten einfach weniger reinmachen.
Brilliant product
After buying a smoke buddy and then a sploofy which both blocked up after a week I decided to try the smoke trap after reading what the Americans were saying about it. It's brilliant it works a treat and hasn't blocked up. I've been using it for three weeks now but you must take it apart and let it air everyday and wash the pre-filter weekly. Highly recommend.
