The. Best. Radiohead. Album. EVER.Music: The music is incredible, split perfectly between each CD, tied together incredible with all the little “Untitled”s and Alt tracks. The first disc is my favorite, featuring Everything In It’s right place, How to Disappear Completely, and Idioteque. I cannot stress enough how ESSENTIAL this album is for you if you even slightly like radiohead, it’s an artistic masterpiece and has a very special place in my heart. So happy to finally get it after years of waiting for an opportunity!Product: The product is a simple paper album, opening to contain the cds in their paper sections, one in the middle and the two on each end. I would have preferred this was manufactured as two separate cd cases or the one but with the normal DRH in the middle of the cds for a less “eeeesh am I scratching it on the paper??” removal, but as long as you press on the top and bottom of the pocket to bow it out a little and ease out the CD from the topside (the design side) you should have no problem! Or, if you aren’t a CD freak like me, just pull it out. I will give you some dirty looks though.Handling/Packaging: I am normally skeptical of buying my CDs on places like Bolo or Walmart, let alone online at ALL, but Bolo handled it well. Bolo put it simply in a sleeve package (don’t have the image or video of that before I threw it away… sorry, I was so hyped, I literally watched the delivery guy pull up.) and the cd was contained in a plastic wrap, which was hard to open simply because I was too excited and not patient, but if you have small scissors or steady not shaking-because-you-can’t-contain-your-excitement-hands, it should be an easy open! The driver dropped it kinda carelessly but between the packaging and how tightly the cd was wrapped in that plastic wrap in the softness of the paper, there was no damage.In this video and these pictures I have playing in the background Kid A Exhibition on my playstation, so just an fyi so you don’t think the CD comes with all that flashy-ness and background.Would buy this 30,000 times again, very VERY satisfied and will be purchasing more Radiohead!

This collection may be the strongest contender for Radiohead's most complete and quality-packed release, combining Kid A, and "The cuts that didn't make Kid A, Amnesiac". Kid A, released in 2000, marked Radiohead's department into ethereal electronic instrumentals, this is no OK Computer, but something beyond, a vastly different experience. Kid A should have you in the long run, either from it's opening track, "Everything In Its Right Place" introducing you to the kind of audio pleasure Radiohead has jammed into this album, or the haunting masterpiece that is "How to Disappear Completely"; This song submerging you into some of the loneliest depths Radiohead has to offer, with its somber strings and melodic guitar backgrounds, and those angelic vocals, The price of admission is worth it for this song alone. Some other highlights from Kid A of mine are "The National Anthem" and it's persistent bass line, "Optimistic", "In Limbo", and "Morning Bell" are worth note, however, the album shines beyond perception in "idioteque" and "Motion Picture Soundtrack" the former, Idioteque having by far the most aggressive instrumentals on the entire album, with its stark use of its rhythm and flow, Idioteque feels unhinged and uncomfortable, I can't stop listening. Motion Picture Soundtrack is a fitting second-to-last ending to Kid A, with its simple choir background, and Thom's consistently haunting vocals covering the entire song, as it comes to it's climax, the pure emotion and harmony from this album is presented to you at full velocity, it is a remarkable experience.Amnesiac is my favorite Radiohead album at this point, I've always been drawn in my the album art and the few songs I recognized from it, but after a few listens, it has risen to the top of my list extremely swiftly. This album doesn't start off as strong as Kid A, with "Packt Like Sardines In a Crushd Tin Box" we are presented similar, yet still unique with this instrumental focused cold open. However, "Pyramid Song" immediately puts you where this album wants you to be, with the beautiful piano to lead, this iconic song sticks with you, a story about vivid dreams coming from the visions you see from a river, somehow showing into your own mind, this song is something to experience in its entirety, give it your full attention. My personal favorites from this album include "Knives Out", "You and Whose Army?", and "Life In a Glasshouse" I've run out of words to describe with reckoner of an album, and I've only barely tapped into the extra tracks Kid A Amnesia bring along with its original 2 pieces of work. yet I have no reason but to advise you to give this collection a listen with your full attention, rarely does music get as gripping as this, its beautiful, its lonely, and its oh-so so Radiohead.

I pulled out the Kid A disc and it had a beautiful, heavy feel to it. I slid it on the turntable. Side one sounded great other than one pockmark defect that caused a few clicks. Then I flipped it over and halfway through In Limbo I started hearing clicks then unbelievably skips! I took it under a light and realized there was a huge deep scratch across three tracks on side 2. In all these years, I can't remember having that on a brand new disk. Bolo was great and I had a replacement the next day - amazing. Now pulling out the same Kid A disk in my new copy you can instantly feel it's not heavy duty vinyl. Got out the kitchen scale and sure enough that first Kid A disk I got was over 200g but all the other disks in both sets are 150g or less. So bizarre. Others have mentions the center holes looking hand tooled so expect that. Only other comment is that the cardboard sleeves are pretty tight - to the point of ripping a bit when you first pull out some disks. But all that aside, I'm very happy to have this on Vinyl and of course the music is 5+ stars.
