Either way they are both up there in price. Although I do really like the Wemax dice, and at first I thought to myself “wow this thing is awesome and the speakers sound great, I don’t think I need to even open the halo +” but boy was I wrong.After testing both, there’s just a few things that I can’t live with out in terms of features and service. (Auto keystone correction, customer service )I’ll write a list of things that I like better on the halo + vs wemax dicePROS of Halo+-sound qualityNow I thought the dice sounded great, but after playing the same audio side by side, the halo has a much more natural cleaner sound coming out of it, it’s actually so much better i changed my view of the dice speaker and wanted to just mute it.- the remote control on the halo feels better in terms of “clicky” of the presses. Feels superior in quality and I do like that it’s white, easier to find if misplaced.- picture quality 5%-10% better (not noticeable unless you really take a look side by side)-halo is slight brighter since the lumens are higher-halo has kick stand which is really helpful, more than I thought it would be.- BIGGEST PRO is auto keystone adjustment (MUST HAVE) after playing with this feature, I’m in love, so much that this alone sold me on it because it saves so much time, it’s smart and when you have kids that love to shake a table a bit, that can throw the screen off enough to bother you , and make you re adjust to perfection. With halo + , it’s all done for you!-manual keystone on the dice was annoying because it just took way too long to get corners where I wanted them, with halo + it was much faster.-with halo I can stick in a fire stick and have it powered via usb drive (with wemax it said it isn’t providing enough power, that I would need to plug the fire stick into an outlet, which defeats the purpose of being portable)Halo + pushes more power to the fire stick!Not only that but i needed a extension adapter because the shell of the dice restricted the fire stick to fit flush since it’s pretty thick. With the halo + , I had no issues since the shell had no restrictions as it was flush.-OS on the halo + was 10-15% faster and everything just felt more snappy.-CUSTOMER SERVICE- I contacted Wemax dice and it took them a couple days to respond (only option is email) and they just kept asking for videos when I clearly told them the issue I was having, which is that the auto keystone wasn’t working. Turns out, it didn’t have one. Only the halo + did.With XGIMI though, they have a US customer care number that operates surprisingly later than most companies and you will get a live person, but even if you didn’t, they emailed me back same day! Not only that they went above and beyond to take care of my needs. This to me was worth the difference I paid alone because I know that I won’t have to worry about anything ever happening to my projector. They stand behind their product, they will go the extra mile for you, trust me they are just awesome!This started as me getting a portable projector because my wife asked for one for the family to watch movies outside in the back yard, to me getting really excited about my new toy. This thing has so much more uses than just a back yard theater, I’ll be taking this thing everywhere I go. It’s a portable 30”-120” tv when ever you want! Especially hotels for my business trips. XGIMI is an amazing brand that I’m very happy to have discovered!Over all it’s SO worth spending the extra $200 for the halo+ , I am a person that cares about the small details in tech and XGIMI NAILED IT on this projector! If you are on the fence, let this be your sign to get it, you will be much happier.

The XGIMI Halo Plus Projector has genuinely transformed my movie nights and travels. It's not just a projector; it's a portable cinema experience in a compact form. The sound quality is outstanding – loud, crisp, and so good that I often find no need for an external speaker. However, should you want one, the Bluetooth connectivity is flawless.Its intelligent screen adaption technology is a boon, automatically adjusting the projected image to match your screen size. This feature, combined with the autofocus, ensures a vivid and clear viewing experience every single time. Everyone who has witnessed this projector in action has been nothing short of impressed.However, a few things could enhance this already stellar product. Firstly, the projector lacks onboard controls, making the remote indispensable. Lose it, and you're in a bind. A padded carrying case would have been a great addition, considering its size and the fact that it's meant to be portable. This projector did everything it said it would. The light is strong enough to use during the day in a room with good blinds. It's vibrant with clear image in a dark room. The battery life is the perfect length for a movie or two if you don't have an outlet. When using battery power it dims slightly to conserve energy. The sound quality is great even when the projector is on the other side of the room. The settings are easy to navigate and set up.

After downsizing my home post-divorce and living in a smaller space for about a year, I decided that I wanted to pick up either a TV or get a small projector for my bedroom to watch TV, play some casual video games and potentially take it with me on camping trips. I was originally going to purchase a SS Freestyle after seeing some product commercials because I liked the feature of being able to throw the picture to my ceiling, but I decided to do my own research and eventually landed on the XGIMI Halo+.This projector pricey, but I decided it was worth it since it did 700 lumens, has auto obstacle detection, auto focus, auto keystone and Harmon Kardon sound built-in (dual 5W speakers, I guess some of the licensing money is going to Samsung anyway since they own Harmon Kardon). The 3.5mm jack is pretty cool too as it can support headphones or if I ever decide to opt for "better" speakers.With the HDMI input, not only can you plug in an Apple TV or a laptop...but this device performs pretty well if you decide to casually game with it. I was pretty satisfied plugging in my Nintendo Switch, and playing games like Mario Kart or Mario Party with my kids.The only con is probably that it doesn't do Netflix natively, but it's not really that big of an issue as there's a workaround via an app. Like I said above though, you can also plugin a different device via the HDMI input.I'm a few months in now using this device and I'm very happy with the Halo+.TL;DR - This thing is great.

The media could not be loaded. Excelente producto, Excelente video y sonido, colores super nítidas, no le pide nada a un proyector más caro, reproduce contendió hasta 4k siendo qué es solo 1080p , tiene una luminosidad bastante buena y lo puedes usar sin conectar a la energía eléctrica, es de tiro corto y tiene 900 led lumens qué por ende no se puede ver muy bien en un lugar con entrada de luz directa del sol pero con un poco de luz de un cuarto ya se ve Excelente y si estas de noche con todo apagado te volará la cabeza, me encanto

Previamente tuve el WEMAX Dice y puedo decir que este es significativamente mejorRecomiendo comprar un Google Chromecast 4k para una mejor experiencia ya qué con esta combinación puedes aplicar imagen a Full HD con 60 Hz en Netflix, y aunque este no tenga esa resolución la escala de la imagen a 4K hace que se vea mejor solo que irá a 30 Hz.Además si tienes Google Home, puedes apagar y prender el proyector con el asistente de Google habilitando alguna de las configuraciones del proyector. Hay algunos videos donde también te muestran como mejorar la imagen. Llevo solo un día con el proyector si veo algo que discutir lo agregaré más tarde
Broken product with terrible seller
I received the product and found the sound is strangeI compare it to my TV and found there is definitely something wrong with the sound.I felt it is defective product so I sent it back.BTW, the seller doesn't provide free shipping label and I paid the shipping cost out of pocketThen it is delivered and the seller is not processing it until I contacted them.Then after, they refund 80% of the total order and said the it is totally ok. They charge 20% as restocking fee??? they just provided a so-called report and said it is totally fine. When I asked if they have any other proof, they just ghostedI want my money back! Don't deal with this seller "Canada Best Electronics"How can they call themselves that????
