Hubby wanted a smaller "boom box" than what we had, and this item suits our needs. There was a variety of colors to choose (we chose the teal). The CD and radio work fine -- haven't tried the cassette function yet. I know "young people" would have music from some app, but for those of us who want to use existing CDs/Cassettes, this item is perfect.

There are several annoying things with this boombox, but ultimately, we had to temper the negatives with the price paid. It looks nice and it has a lot of features that are nice. It wasn't all that expensive. But here are some observations so far:We received a different color than the one that we ordered. We don't really care, just be aware that you might not get the color that you select. The power button is sometimes finicky; you have to hold it down to power the radio on but if you hold it just a smidge too long, it turns on and off quickly. The first CD that was played had 17 tracks. Subsequently used CDs do not seem to rescan and show 17 tracks as well, regardless of how many tracks they have. If you power the unit off or change the function to something else, it seems to rescan the CD and shows the correct number of tracks for that CD. The FM radio seems to tune properly. Scanning for radio stations goes slowly, which can be good or bad, depending on what station number you are looking for. You are able to navigate up and down in small increments for fine-tuning.The biggest con with this device is that, even though it contains a disclaimer saying that CD formatting may vary, but that it should play all store bought cds, it absolutely does not play Linkin Park Meteora. It is like it is trapped on scan mode - it plays a few seconds of a song then skips to the next song throughout the entire disc. :( in fairness, this disc does have some special formatting on it, but it was store-bought and does not play. We almost deducted a star for this.Tape playing is adequate, not the primary reason for purchasing. Can't get an AM radio station, but we cannot remember the last time we tried to listen to AM radio, so maybe they're just aren't any stations around here. Have not tried Bluetooth yet.For the couple of people that mentioned not getting a power cord, the power cord is tucked on the outside of the styrofoam securing the radio, so it could be easy to miss.Updated: after less than a month with very light use, the antenna snapped off. This unit is not touched or moved that often but the antenna is quite delicate, it seems. Deducting 1 star because it seems a bit flimsy.

Thank you so much Studebaker for fulfilling my little dream of having a CD player that has buttons that work and a digital screen you can see, There are so many inferior boomboxes out there for the same price. received and looked like too carton had been re-taped... - then the product didn't work with batteries, tried 2 set, then went to purchase another set but it failed. Got great Bolo service for placement and "guarantied delivery by Sunday"... on Sunday, the delivery is now Tuesday :-( I suspect they may take the same one and send it back?? I'll update post if things change, but so far, only disappointments...

Very happy with the product.
So far so good
Only been a couple of months since Xmas but all the features worked. The sound was actually better than I expected it to be. Looks good. Time will tell on how long it holds up. No regrets yet on this purchase at all.
