EDIT (see original further below)January 2023:I returned my defect center console and bought another, identical, one. This time the box came perfectly sealed while last time it looked as if someone had already used it.This is for my Nissan NV200. I have no woodworking skills so I build a base out of very strong carton which I stuffed inside with styrofoam. For this center console I needed a straight, tall base which I was able to build successfully. I wrapped the carton box in very thin foam and then stapled fabrics over it. Then I took the plastic base that came with the center console and screwed it as best I could onto and in the carton box. The contraption looks somewhat top-heavy but I am not having anything of significant weight in there. Mostly I needed an armrest while driving!! This center console is perfect for that. My carton center console is anchored into my original center console, so when I brake, everything stays in place.Also, all USB ports work - however any cable that gets stuck into the ports, is still quite loose. A white cable comes with the center console and that one I connected via adapter to my 12V plug. I can make this console’s USB plugs only work with this white cable. All my other cables (also USB to USB) won’t work. Weird!The white cable can either be plugged into the front of the console, or the backside, and this lids all the USB ports up for them to work.Original review December 2022:I ordered this for my Nissan NV200 micro van, with the understanding that it would only be useable if I build a platform for this console and attach it somehow to my very low-laying original console.When I received it and tried out the USB ports, they functioned only for seconds. It was clear that there was a contact error somewhere as all the USB cables could only be inserted very loosely. Not one of them had a strong hold or contact.The instructions only explain how to put together the console but not how to operate the ports. There is one USB input port in the front of the console that powers all the other USB ports.When the cup holder in the back is open, the lower laying ash tray cannot be opened.The entire center console feels cheaply made and the USB ports not working was actually not a big surprise when handling this item. So at the current price of about $50, this is quite an overpriced item.However I have yet to find a better fit, so I returned this console (at least Bolo makes returns very easy) and will most likely have to buy another console of the same kind as only this one will fit with some modifications. There is hope the next one works…But I cannot give this console any more than 1 star for sending a defect item…

a bit cheap looking/ feeling, but That's okay with me since it's way cheaper than OEM. It fits my car great, installation was easy, and does the job.

I really like this product it fit my 2020 Chevy TRAX fine but I did not want to use the screws so instead I used industrial-strength Velcro to attach it. Also, the screws for the sliding mechanism that the armrest sits on are a tad bit to long so i used slightly short screws. All in all the product is great.

I really like the concept and it was easy to install and fits my car great. However while the base is very solidly installed on the car, the console itself is made out of very, very cheap plastic. It's very wobbly because of the flimsy plastic and the way it slides forward in a track. Also, it just looks and feels cheap.Also, even without the raiser, it sits higher than you would want.I'll try to be very careful with it but I seriously doubt it will last long. It's better than nothing I guess.

As far as ease of installation, it's really easy... Once you look up the video on youtube. It comes with no instructions. The USB "charger" doesn't charge at all. The LEDs light up but that's about it. This actually killed my phone. Not sure what it did but plugged in my phone and it sparked and shut off. My phone never came back on and it gets really hot whenever i plug it in. So I would NOT recommend unless you want to buy a new phone after trying their charger option. It's really worthless.

This is, by far, the better choice of Armrest for my vehicle. I installed it in a 1979 Fiat 2000 PaninFarina Spider. My main concern was, of course, the Height and function, but how it would mount to the Console.I currently have it settings on the Console, but used an adheasive Dense Foam. I do have the option to Screw it down, using the back Console mount bracket, but wanted to make sure it works out. So far, I love it. The item is Built Well, and looks sharp too.As long as you don't go Gorilla with it, and let it work for you, rather than vise versa.I like it a lot!

My car was missing an arm rest so I purchased this one to give it a shot. I’m so glad that I did. Installing it wasn’t extremely simple but it wasn’t very difficult either. Just a little time consuming. Regardless, it fit great and feels amazing. I kind of wish it was just a little bit bigger and wider. But I’m still really pleased with how it came out

This thing will break when you least expect it. My back accidentally hit the arm rest when I put it in my truck. It broke the top completely off. I have used a dual bonding agent and it it’s staying in there now. The installation is also not very strong. I have a 2023 Colorado work truck version and it fits but had to place a couple wash clothes under it. It was very flimsy. It has served its purpose but would not buy again.

Mounted this into my 2023 commander for an arm rest. Best mod I've done! Didn't bother with the USB connections tho. But the little compartments work great from smaller items.
