Soothing and light moisturizer, perfect for sensitive skin
I have been using the Purito Seoul Oat In Calming Gel Cream and I loved it. It has a very light gel-like texture that absorbs quickly and does not leave a sticky or heavy feeling on the skin.It is ideal for sensitive skin, with redness or irritation. Since I use it, I notice my skin calmer, hydrated and fresher. The main ingredient, oat seed water, really helps to soften and soothe the skin.
Lightweight, soothing and perfect for sensitive skin
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this oat gel cream and I really like how lightweight it feels on my skin. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel heavy at all.I noticed it helped calm my redness and made my skin look more hydrated and healthy. I also have sensitive skin and it didn’t irritate me, which is a big plus.Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for something soothing and gentle for everyday use.
Five stars isn't enough for this!
If I could give it 10 stars, I would.This is a lightweight moisturizer that has a very gel like texture. Both times I have used this, I put it on over night. I woke up both times with smooth, hydrated skin that had a healthy glow. Im a 10/10 with sensitivity and my skin reacts easily and thus far this has not caused any irritation, bumps, redness, itchy skin or acne. I haven't used this during the day time as I am using the Purito's SPF for daytime. I recommend this for sensitive or reactive skin that needs some hydration!side note: I saw someone complaining about smell. This product has zero smell.and: The ingredients in this are near perfect, as far as being both gentle and beneficial, non-comedogenic, non-acneic, soothing, moisturizing, brightening, non-iritating, silicone free, oil free, alcohol free, fragrance free, sulfate free, paraben free etc.Update: After using this for about 2 months, I am HUGE FAN. I use this in the daytime now and it leaves such a healthy glow on my skin. I have never had any reaction to this moisturizer. My skin seems to be healing over time to the point that people have commented. This product does its job and does it well. I think this is what people call the Holy Grail when they find it. SO, this is my Holy Grail in the lightweight moisturizer category! I certainly hope Purito doesnt mess with this formulation.
Good, but I like the CIca Recovery cream better
Edit: okay, so I figured out a system that works best for me since my skin is dry and irritated from retinol and vitamin C. This feels heavenly and soothing. I start with a couple layers of essence. My favorite is Purito CIca. Serum. Oat gel. Dry and irritated spots get treated with a bit of CIca Recovery Cream.I have been using this product for a few months now. I purchased this after I saw one of the Welsh Twins review it on his YouTube channel. This skinfluencer just couldn't say enough good things about it. He has oily skin, though, and said he applies a moisturizer over it. I have combination skin and didn't find it to be very hydrating or moisturizing. Nevertheless, I think someone with oily skin would like this if they lived in a hot or humid environment.It has a very faint pleasant smell, slightly reminiscent of vanilla. The consistency is medium thickness, but it's not greasy. It doesn't feel heavy at all. It absorbs into the skin quickly. This is a quality product, buy I don't think I will repurchase.I personally like the Centella Unscented Recovery Cream better. It's my Holy Grail, and I have purchased it many times. It's allegedly a dupe for a certain tiger balm by a certain Dr. J. I find it to be much more soothing for my sensitive skin and weak skin barrier. It's slightly more hydrating than the oat gel, though not by much. I like to layer the two if my skin is really irritated. Or I will apply retinol after the oat gel, and top off with the cream. Both products are good for people with acne. If you have dehydrated skin, I recommend applying 1-3 layers of the Centella Essence first. That's another Holy Grail of mine.
Fungal Acne SAFE
This is a great moisturizer. I'm so happy to be able to add another product to my FA safe list. Since it's so lightweight you can layer anything on top seamlessly. The only downside (for me) has been during the winter months. Depending on my hydration habits and the cold air, it doesn't permeate the dry patches I get on my face enough. I often had to set it aside during morning and night routine and opt for a thicker lotion (Almond Clear).I can't wait to use it in the summer months, though. It feels good when you smooth it onto your face.
Fungal Acne safe and lightweight
I’ve been using this product for about a year now. When searching for a fungal acne safe moisturizer on TikTok, I came across this and it worked! Now a year later no fungal acne, I still use it. I have sensitive acne-prone skin and this has been the best one as it is lightweight and not oily (not creamy, but is gel-like). If you’re looking for something extra moisturizing, this isn’t for you.
MY LIFETIME PRODUCT!!!!
I want to put this first, I live in central Texas, so I recommend this lightweight moisturizer for people who live in very humid areas.I have searched far and wide for a good, gel moisturizer for my mixed dry and oily skin. Most either left me with odd residue on my face, or caused me to have pimples. I wash my face when I shower, and prefer to wipe my face with wet wipes in between (not a fan of getting my face wet unless I’M completely wet). Right when I get out, I apply the cream. And my face STAYS HYDRATED AND SUPPLE. No extra oils, no random dry or flaky spots, I haven’t had my skin feel this soft since I was a kid! I even had my period and didn’t get my normal hormonal pimples. Insane! I usually break out SO bad on my chin at that time. I didn’t have a SINGLE PIMPLE. it is a little sticky/ velvety on my hands after application, so I just wash my hands off with water, and it’s fine! It has a very slight scent, but it’s definitely not an issue. Easy to apply, just put a small dollop on your fingers. For the size of the tube, and the small amount I usually use, the value for money is well spent. I finally found my forever cream!!!! I just hope it never goes away.
