I was a bit skeptical because of the incredible price. These vanilla beans were great. Plenty of moisture but not too much to cause mold. No dried out beans. Perfect for making extract. Very consistent size. For those that prefer to purchase your vanilla beans by weight as I do here's what I got. After I cut them in two and split them down the middle I ended up with 8.3 ozs of beans. Best price on Bolo. If I had known the weight I would've purchased 4 bags. Shipping was super fast and the vacuum seal was perfect. The aroma when I cut the bag upon was vanilla heaven! Great packaging. You won't go wrong buying these vanilla beans.

The Starbucks petite vanilla bean scones were getting a bit out of budget, so I sought to bring out the baking pan and to make them at home from scratch. These vanilla beans have been an irreplaceable companion on my journey towards the perfect vanilla scone, though I'd also like to give accolades to fresh cream and unsalted Irish butter. There's something to fresh vanilla caviar, whether the fresh, unadulterated flavor or the sheer aesthetic appeal of the vanilla flecks (which my family raved about) that just can't be matched by extract. Thank you, vanilla beans. We couldn't have made wonderfully delicious vanilla bean scones without you.I haven't made extract with these, so I can't comment on that - but these were moist with a nice flavor, and the fragrance of them was absolutely lovely. They were sealed air-tight (vacuum?) to avoid oxidation, keeping all the flavor and good stuff in. Truly fragrant and beautiful, so whether you're making scones or extract, I'd recommend!

These were perfect for making homemade vanilla! The price made it more economical. They were plump and easy to slice.

I bought these to make vanilla extract. However they smell chemically and do not smell anything like vanilla! I simmered one in cream to see if the vanilla smell and taste could be found. Nope! just a gross chemical smell! I bought so many of them and will have to toss them in the trash!

These beans are top quality. About 7 inches long, plump and full of caviar. After only a week and a half, my extract is turning a beautiful dark colour. Can’t wait to see what it’s like in a couple of months, in time for holiday baking. I will order more!

Fresh, high quality, and smell amazing!
These came vacuum sealed, were fresh, and smelled amazing.I’ve used them in baking, to make vanilla extract, vanilla infused almond and jojoba oil, and in vanilla flavoured sugar so far. You get quite a few so they last a while.Would definitely recommend.

Fresh and full.I have tried a couple different brands on Bolo now for vanilla bean pods as I cannot buy these locally.This brand has been the best!3/3 times I have purchased these they have been full and fresh. Lots of flavour and the smell is amazing!I don't make extract, I use the paste inside straight from the pod into my bakes goods. I haven't been disappointed yet!I use the pods in with my coffee beans to add extra flavour to my perked coffee!I also use them in honey, and I've also tried oils! Each one delicious!
