Excellent clippers! These really cut clean and quick without the clacking sounds that make my nervous dog jumpy every time I've clipped his nails. Easy to grip and a nice weight to them so they are sure to last a very long time. These remind me of the German nail clippers my Grandmother had brought back with her and lasted for over 50 years. Hard to find quality of this nature any more. The size is perfect for one hand use and have a clip to spring them open after squeezing off a puppy toenail. I find these easier to use then the spring version where you have to thread the nail through before shearing off the nail. These also are easier to see where the cut is being made, which eliminates cutting into the quick. Very practical and worth the money.

Great product, but when I opened the box my first thought was they were too small for my dogs nails. He is a 160# Cane Corso with large feet. The clippers were very sharp and opened wide enough to cut his nails. I recommend if you have a large breed dog! These are well made and look like surgical cutters.

This is the best I’ve found. Trim my GSD Husky mix nails so good. Others have distorted but the meter in this product is like hospital surgery grade. They been used long time still work as new.

This worked great cutting both my pitbull's nails without causing breakage (you know that cracking sound you hear when you first start squeezing, almost like when you're breaking open nuts with a cracker? That's tiny breaks/cracks in your dogsnails from the blades crushing the nail, which happens a lot with large dogs because their nails are so thick, which is why it's important to me to have sharp nail clippers. It may also be why many dogs are so afraid to have their nails clipped, because it's painful having them crushed, or at least that's the way the vet explained it to me). Anyways, these clippers are sharp, which I love, and they cut through the nail cleanly. My only gripe is, they don't have a guard. I have cut my dogs nails long enough and often enough to know where to stop, but my dogs also have clear nails which makes it easier too, so I can see where the quick is. My Yorkie on the other hand though has black nails, and that guard comes in handy. It's not a deal breaker for me, but if you have a dog with dark colored nails and you're inexperienced with trimming your dog's nails, I would try to find one with a guard or buy some quick stop as a safety preventative to be on the safe side in case you accidentally go too short because it's incredibly painful for them and it bleeds a lot (which is why I don't take mine to the groomers to get theirs cut anymore. We learned that the hard way. So try to avoid it happening in any way you can, trust me.)

I have purchased many nail clippers for my dogs nails, these work great on her nails. I have always had an issue where the nail clippers are not strong enough for her nails and they will split her nails , these are heavy and sturdy so they make it easier to clip her nails and they do not split them. I find them easy to use and because they are heavier than normal clippers they make it easier to cut her nails plus they are sharp. I would buy these again

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally, a true "clean cut" on thick dog nails without excessive drama
Absolutely the best, most comfortable and realistic to use, nail clippers for large dogs. They're smooth, one pass on each nail, no re-doing jagged nails. The money i have dumped into nail trimmers that have ultimately traumatized my almost 13 yr old pitty. He did okay for years and as he's aged, he enjoys the task far less.. he ran from these as soon as I took them out of the slim box it arrived in (which was practical and packaged well). Once I was able to get him calm, I was so anxious awaiting him to scream or turn up his lip. I was shocked at how smoothly these clippers went through his big, thick, curved nails that have grown far too long these past 2 months. He immediately lost his marbles but began to relax more than usual with his old expensive "professional " clippers.. These look very similar to a large cuticle nipper or toenail clipper used by a podiatrist. The handles have a nice slim, smooth feel. They have a nice curve that eases that awkward angle we must all face, whether it be working on our weak side making certain feet hard to get at, unsure but these have bridged that issue for me. They take a second to adjust to, I've used all styles. These offer a collapsible spring hinge. You can open these entirely, so much easier to maneuver clunky nails that may have a challenging profile. Older clipper, of good quality, often caused little micro splintering around tough nails. My dog would chew at them and they'd never seem to really get short enough to ease him. These get the nails low, safely but very quickly. They are very sharp and have a lightweight feel but very good quality steel. I highly recommend these nail trimmers, my dog's nails have never looked so clean and correctly angled following a trim. He seems so relieved and absolutely is admiring his comfy toes which is a huge win, his gait looks better immediately. Get these, your pets will be so appreciative. They are worth every penny and truly slice through thick claws with such ease, I was pleasantly shocked! (Used on my 15 lb small breed dog as well, took me less than 1 minute because of the quality blades).

The Best for the Job & by a Country Mile
Easily the best for doing the job. Had previously tried other cheaper ones that just don't come anywhere near the efficacy of these. They make light work of the job, even for my 4 large dogs. The included file helps take off any rough edges.Seriously, paying a bit more for this quality pays big dividends and works out cheaper.They feel professional in the hands when you're using them. And built to last. Making even thick claws easy. These make others feel like something you get out of a Christmas cracker. Photo is of one happy dog whose claws have been clipped without faffing because the clippers are good and don't feel flimsy or difficult to hold or get the angle right. In the hand, they feel like a pair of proper pliers. 10 out of 10.

Niña tiene uñas muy muy duras y siempre he batallado con ella porque se estresa mucho y mas en el veterinario, estas pinzas cortan con facilidad y tienen buen grip, en verdad vale el precio. No se si sean de acero inoxidable pero se sienten pesadas y de buena calidad. Las recomiendo ampliamente.

These nail clippers slice through my Rhodesian Ridgebacks large black nails so easily with no effort, instead of crunching them as has happened with all the others I have bought. Wish I had bought them years ago.
