A family member who knows I like spicy things purchased this for me on a Buc-ees visit. I know most people who are looking for reaper flavors are expecting "Dave's Insanity" level of heat. I on the other hand will get nauseated if I consumed something that spicy. I was a bit afraid to try it, knowing that reapers are pretty ridiculously hot. If you are looking for all of your orifices to burn, this is not the sauce.This sauce does indeed have some heat and flavor of a reaper, without being made with too much reaper. I also enjoy habanero flavor, not so much habanero heat. If I swing by Buc-ees I might grab another bottle. It's not too salty either, like some hot sauces tend to be.

When you buy a hot sauce that contains Carolina reapers, you’d expect your mouth to burn and your face to be redder than an angry British person. If you want a reaper sauce that can do all those, then I’d suggest you look elsewhere.I bought this sauce when I took a quick visit to Buc ees. The flavor isn’t too bad. I think it’ll be fine to make a homemade sauce or put on some tacos since it does have that Mexican feel to it.However, what it makes up for in flavor, it lacks in the spice department. In my opinion, this sauce is slightly spicier than a jalapeño but is nowhere near Serrano pepper levels of spice. It won’t have you running to grab a gallon of milk or have you on the ground in the gelato position. Heck, you can drink it straight out of the bottle if you wanted to.Overall, flavor is not bad but there are way more spicier sauces out there.Flavor: 7/10Spice: 3.5/10

I expected the Carolina Reaper to pack a punch, but the heat level was surprisingly tame.The flavor is decent—it's got a nice tang and some underlying sweetness—but if you're looking for that intense, mouth-on-fire experience that Carolina Reapers are known for, this isn't it. It's more of a gentle burn that fades quickly, leaving you wanting more.Overall, it's an okay sauce if you're looking for something mild, but if you're a true spice lover, this one will likely leave you disappointed. I was hoping for something that would really challenge my taste buds, but this just didn't deliver.

Not for hot sauce fans as this is watery, thin and not really hot. Reaper should have some spank! This has none. I bought my bottle at a buc ee's also... fun place but they need a new supplier! Also there is not drip insert in the tip...just an open bottle. If this were real, you would need to add by the drop. It ain't.Fun fact.... a bottle cap presses onto the cap perfectly and looks nice!
