Blinking non stop was a problem I saw from a few people. Follow these directions and yiu should see a pair option. Pairing the remote fixed the Blinking. It's working well. Worked when Blinking as well.

So out of the box (there are no instructions) the remote worked-ish. There was a lag and the voice didn't work. I looked at other reviews, and followed the instructions to pair the remote via system settings. That immediately got rid of the lag, but the voice button still didn't work. I tried unpairing and pairing a few times. Still didn't work. I took out the batteries and put them back in. At that point, the voice started working. I don't know if removing the batteries did it, or it just needed a bit of time, but eventually the voice button did start working.
