The living room TV remote went missing from my rental property, so I had to find a replacement. I felt more comfortable buying the actual Vizio brand, as opposed to one of the knockoffs I found during my search. The price is really great, IMO, and it worked right away, without any programming. I really like that this particular model has a Haystack News button. It took me right to local news, and weather. This will be a nice feature for guests, I think.

The Vizio TV I received as a gift did not come with the original remote, and therefore I could not access the MENU settings for my Vizio TV, so I could not adjust the speakers, volume, brightness, or anything else, only connect to Roku. I purchased this remote with the hope it could help me access my MENU settings, and I was blown away by how well it immediately worked. All you do is pop 2 AAA batteries in, and immediately the remote works just as if it was the original one that came with the TV. I was immediately able to access the menu settings for the TV and change all the settings I wanted to. Beyond satisfied. Can’t recommend enough.

Looks just as advertised and perfect for when your toddler finds and hides the remote. I did not have to go to our local walmart and spend $20. Of course when the remote arrived 2 days later, we found the original remote control. Now we have 2 so that's not a bad thing :)

With this remote there is not installation or programming needed. The buttons are sturdy and easy to understand. Works out of the box. All buttons worked. My husband prefers this remote over the one that came with the Visio TV.
