Super effective works quickly and leaves behind no sticky residue. It does have a funky smell but once rubbed in the smell goes away. It’s a very thin cream which I love because my skin absorbs it quickly. You just rub it on where you have the pain, air dry it and it sets in to remove the pain almost instantaneously.

This small bottle packs a big punch and the price… just right. I use lidocaine for a skin disorder called hidradenitis suppurativa “HS”. It is a chronic painful skin disorder that has no known cause and very few effective medications especially for someone suffering and fighting for relief for33 yrs. I’ve been prescribed lidocaine in the past with price of getting the RX fluctuating between $5-29.00 for a 1oz bottle! Note that’s WITH insurance RX coverage. Recently my RX coverage does not cover any cost of a 1oz tube of lidocaine ointment or solution. I HAD to find something agreeable with my skin. I tried this brand 1st. I tried 6 other brands bought from Bolo and from the pharmacy OTC. Some more expensive than others. Most were all roughly a 2 oz bottle. They all worked for me at 4-5% lidocaine… however all BUT this brand wouldLeave a lot residue on my skin.. some gritty and greasy… some the ointment would dry then flake or roll off if the area was touched by even just fabric from my clothes causing debris to get into holes in my skin healed or not. Thus causing me to flair up and make an already painful skin area worse.Gladly I came back to this brand.. the 1st brand I tried. It does leave a residue that can roll off and flake off if too much is put on, but not NEARLY as much as the other brands that I’ve tried in the past or even the prescription I had been filling previously. The bottle is 1.75oz at $2.99The product is inexpensive and has good results. Once applied, I know 10minutes later… I will have noticeably reduced pain and with very little residue. This brand is now my go to and I don’t plan on changing unless I can find something that is a liquid solution.You won’t be let down. Don’t let the small size of the bottle discourage you from trying.

Good but not great. I use this for microneedling and the smell is strong and getting it around my eyes kind of burns even if it’s not touching my eye. Doesn’t seem to numb pain for very long. Works well enough though.

PRO’s:• SIZE: Bottle size is an Easy Addition to a Medicine/Cosmetic/Go Bag• EFFECTIVENESS: 5% Lidocaine Cream is the Highest Quantity of Lidocaine allowed without an Rx Prescription• TIME: Works for 10-30 minutes depending on the individual and individual pain tolerance• DISPENSING BOTTLE: The bottle is easy to squeeze out product. The small hole dispenser keeps the excess product from spilling out/dispensing as much as the squeeze tubes.CON’s:• TIME: As with any Lidocaine product the time it is effective is short, just approximately 15-30 minutes, and depends on the individual and their pain tolerance.• TOPICAL: Only for Topical use, and does not really work beyond “surface” pain (in my opinion). For example, if you have a paper cut on a finger that hurts, it can be applied to and numb the cut; however, if You have a sprained ankle, applying this to Your ankle would be of little to no use.SIDE NOTES:I buy Lidocaine 5% cream for use on my Stoma (around the edge) of my permanent Ostomy (pain relief) and also for when I wax my bikini area (preventative numbing). In both instances, the short life span of the numbing isn’t an issue, and the product numbing is a reliefWould I Buy this Again? It’s Already in my Cart! So, YES!

Love the ladicane cream whether it’s a roll on or the gel. What matters is that it helps me. It doesn’t last long but it’s a great price and I use it again

I bought this for chaffing originally from the summer heat which results in parts of my skin to literally peel off from staying wet all summer, and immediately noticed relief! Other creams didn't deliver this much power as far as pain relief, so highly recommend.I also put it in the fridge for that extra cooling effect upon application, and that helps soothe my skin tremendously!! Keep your hands out of your mouth after applying, wash immediately. Don't rub your eyes either!
