Both glucometers had brand new batteries. I don't know what the issue with these strips are but I recommend staying away from these. I'm amending my review. I did not realize that there were different brands of True Metrix Glucometers. These strips seem to work with the McKesson True Metrix Glucometers...so far.

I got these for my roommate who was having trouble paying for the ones associated with the brand of her meter. She had no idea generics were an option.These are like 4 times less costly than the ones she was originally buying and she would like me to tell everyone that she completely recommendeds these to anyone with Metrix meters ๐
