I recently bought a used 12 mini with randomly shutoff issues and would not charge. The old screen cracked during the removal process so I bought this one. This kit has everything you need for installation. Be very careful removing and transferring the facial recognition sensor at the top as it is very delicate. I suggest buying a rubber mat if you start repairing phones. Anyways, I had the phone back together in about 1.5 hours as I like to take my time to make sure everything was done right. Keep in mind, you will have that pesky iMessage claiming the screen is not original….just ignore it. I would buy again if needed.

The media could not be loaded. Update: Okay, it's trash. The touch on the keyboard area is absolutely awful. The space bar double taps and adds a period to everything. The C is almost impossible to use because it presses buttons on both sides. Just typing this has been tough.First off, just a heads up you will have to transfer your speaker/proximity sensor from your prior screen. If it's damaged make sure to have another one on hand... this screen itself is in working condition. Not great quality though. If you're expecting something even remotely the quality of the original screen you'll probably need to look elsewhere. The screen went in easily enough, the single connector lined up as intended and best I can tell there are no dead spots. I don't think the displayed area is the same as the original, it seems smaller but I didn't take before photos to compare. This is not near as rigid or strong as the original either. There's a lot of flex to it. I attached a video of the screen during boot up where you can see discoloration with a light touch as if you were using the keyboard. I'm not pleased with that but as long as you aren't on a dark background it's not noticeable. I'm pretty sure this screen will break fairly easily due to how flimsy it is but I guess time will tell. Overall if you're on a budget like I am, your screen is damaged, and you just need to be able to see what you're doing this is a viable option. If you have the extra cash to spend find a better quality screen or get Apple to replace it for you. I can't comment on the tools they provide since I already own a set of good phone repair tools but they look the same as every other set that comes with cheap parts. Hope this helps someone.

Why spend so much money on my phone screen at a phone store? When you can easily install this quality thickness, beautiful looking easy application phone screen and hell I don't know what the battery really life is cause this phone screen don't get a battery but the quality was awesome. The thickness was great.

I crushed my phone in my hood and I needed a remedy asap. This did the job. I installed it 2 days ago and It’s fairly responsive for this extremely low price. One thing I don’t like is that after the installation my phone now heats up real fast, after about 5 minutes my phone gets too hot to even hold. I’m not joking it even smells like fire sometimes.

I absolutely loved the customer service on how fast my refund was issue. Unfortunately the screen was defective, I’m sure this happens. But they were great on refunding my purchase. Would definitely recommend for parts.

The touch screen was very sensitive. My thumb wouldn’t even be touching the screen, just close, and button would push. It randomly just blacked out at times. It finally died. The phone vibrates, so it’s on. But, the screen is black.

Installation went fine - I have replaced a few screens on other iPhones, but with this one but there are lines on the new screen. I turn off and on the screen and they go away. I was living with that...I mean, non OEM screen isn't perfect, big surprise. But the worst part about this screen is that the touch is screwy... so that it registers multiple taps when I'm not touching the phone which leads to incorrect lock screen passcode entries and locks me out of the device. I wouldn't buy this one again.

Everything works!Screen is darker for sure!And looks like the bottom edge is higher than apples.Works and replaced broken screen, but not original for sure.
