I bought this for my sister for Christmas out of nostalgia (we're in our late 30s). The incessant, demanding beeps got so annoying she let it die before Christmas was even over. Perfect sibling gift! Worth the $20.

I got this for my son for his birthday and it is just as I remember it as a child. The size is small fitting perfectly in a childs hand, the batter life is super super long, the quality is great and the color options are so cute! This brings me right back to my childhood. Great value!

So it was very fun to play with, it's like a little digital pet you have to take care of. It beeps when it needs something.SCROLL DOWN IF YOU WANT A SHORT HELPFUL GUIDE ON HOW TO CARE FOR IT :) vvvWHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR/TIPS & TRICKS:- A button is the button on the left. B button is the button in the middle. C button is the button on the right.- If it isn't taken good care of, the pet will 'die' aka it flys back up to its home planet. You can get a new one if you reset but it isn't the same pet and if your kid is below 9 they will most likely become distraught over it dying- If you feed it too many snacks (the cake) it will die before it turns into a teenager! You can feed it the burger only.- If it isn't disciplined or played with enough or it's weight is too high it will grow up to become an unattractive bad mannered alien.- When it needs something, it beeps. You can silence it (although that is the #1 leading cause of tamagotchi deaths) but if your children go to school then you need to take care of it while they are at school, unless you want them to be checking their tamagotchi every 10 minutes or having it beep. If they are in middle school or higher, then they can put it on their backpack and check it between periods/at lunch time.- Discplining it is clicking the button with the little head that's speaking/yelling. If it beeps even though its hunger and happiness is full, you need to click that button to discipline it. The more you discipline, the less it will beep when not needed which is what we want. You also need to discipline it if it refuses to eat when hungry or play when unhappy.- HERE'S HOW TO PLAY THE GAME: When you click the play button, a number will appear on the left. If you think the number on the right (there is no number on the right YET) will be higher then it, click the B button. If you think the number that the number on the left will be higher then the number that will appear on the right, click the A button.- All the responsibilities might seem a little stressful, right? But as your tamagotchi grows up, it will become less maintenance.- It will eventually die of natural age LUCKILY things you can do to increase its lifespan are:- Keep in tiptop shape. My rule of thumb is even when it doesn't beep, check every 10-15 minutes. If a heart is gone for HUNGRY or HAPPINESS play with it or feed it!- Play with it. As much as possible. Not a lot but I'd recommend 30 minutes of play total a day. Playing with it also keeps its weight down, and the more it weighs the less it'll live :(- Only discipline when necessary!

Such a fun and nostalgic gift for my daughter!I bought this Tamagotchi for my daughter, and she absolutely loves it! It's been so fun watching her take care of her little virtual pet — feeding it, playing with it, and learning responsibility in a really cute and engaging way. It brought back so many memories from my own childhood, and now I get to share that same joy with her.The device is simple to use, the animations are adorable, and it keeps her entertained without being overwhelming. It’s the perfect mix of old-school charm and modern fun. Highly recommend for any parent looking to give their kid something a little different (and super fun)!

Es muy pequeño y a veces difícil de ver la pantalla porque no tiene luz. El sonido de los botones y del juego a veces puede ser abrumador porque es demasiado fuerte. El juego es aburrido y se tarda mucho en completar una ronda.Adicionalmente, se moría siempre de repente al tercer día, por lo que tuve que investigar mucho hasta que me encontré un artículo que mencionaba el peso y la comida. Al parecer no se recomienda darle pastel y hay pesos recomendados para cada edad: bebé - 5Lb / Niño - 10Lb / Adolescente - 20Lb / Adulto - 30Lb Si ves que el peso comienza a sobrepasar esas cifras, debes jugar para que pierda el peso. Ninguna de estas instrucciones está en el manual ni es fácil encontrar esa información.Finalmente, creo que estas reediciones no son tan divertidas, no se puede “pausar” por lo que debes estar 100% pendiente, es demasiado pequeño y las opciones de actividades son muy pocas y aburridas, en general tenía un recuerdo muy diferente de lo que era.

I just bought it to look at it and you're probably reading this review because you want to do the same. Very pretty little Tama. Can't comment on the game play because, as I said, I bought this pretty little Tama just to look at it. It's currently on display in my room. A+ would recommend you buy one to look at it too.Oh! I have read that if you do play it, don't feed it snacks until it's an adult or you greatly increase the chances of killing it and you may be arrested by the Tama police before you can even reset the device.
