This little part is extremely useful. I installed a toolbox in my car that was modified from a cabinet, but the door kept opening easily. After adding this latch, the problem was perfectly solved, and it was very inexpensive. A very handy little gadget!

This is the best adjustable flip lock you can get, the locking tab can be adjusted for proper length and tension, I used it on my freezer locker to prevent condensation and ice forming. 👍

Buckle seems reasonably strong however I kept snapping off the heads of the soft cheap screws provided with my electric drill going into a pre-drilled oak table leafs. I found some alternate screws around the house to use. If they would have provided hardened wood screws I would have given it 5 stars.

My freezer under the top lid Came apart, had to make new underneath, with heavy dutie crome like material and round wood disk, The top would not stay down, bought these, put only one in the center to use. I must say, it turned out great, looks the top down and keeps a cold 10 degrees. Very happy with the out come.

The latches themselves are passable though not machined entirely straight but the included screws are worthless and incredibly cheap. I’ve had three of them twist apart and one strip and haven’t even gotten a latch fully installed yet. Price is good but you’re going to have to get some better screws I guarantee.
