Exactly what I was looking for. When I apply sunscreen, I don't like getting it all over my hands and feel like it wastes product. Normal makeup sponges would absorb it and maybe affect the efficacy of the spf, this sponge doesn't absorb it at all! And applies it beautifully as a base under makeup.

Nice sponge, and I bought it because the silicon part is supposed to help save foundation absorbed by traditional sponges. I think it does save foundation, but the silicon part is hard, so it doesn't feel as good as traditional sponges. Also it's hard to get to small areas such as the sides of the nose, you'll have to use the non-silicon part to do the more detailed job.

This is my favorite makeup sponge. It blends well, isn't so porous that it stays too wet to be effective and cleans up nicely.

I really wanted to like this sponge, the silicone part is great for applying foundation, but then switching and holding the sponge without getting your hand messy is not impossible, but does happen.
The Elf brand is knocking it out of the park!
