It worked perfectly. The handbrakes on the back handles were perfect for going up and down hill while on our excursion to Xcaret, (albeit it was not handicap friendly. The wheelchair is a beautiful, blue color with large wheels in the back and handbrakes on each side as well. My husband decorated it with his Dodger stickers and he loves it!

This chair is light and easily maneuverable. It came assembled and works well. It folds compactly. I love the handgrip and side brake combination. The only thing I would change is to soften the tire tread. This chair is great for my wife and the seat is comfortable for extended use. The footrests are compact and are not as clumsy as the swing-away type. Great features and utility for the price.

We bought this wheelchair, 15" wheels, for my mother-in-law who is in her late 80's and currently cannot walk. The weight of the wheelchair is accurate, the hand brakes make it very easy for the person pushing the wheelchair to stop and lock. It is comfortable to sit in and easy to fold and put away. The problem with this wheelchair is that the foot rests are way too short and do not move. The pad that the foot sits on is only 5.5 inches in length and 4.5 inches wide. They are positioned straight down, not good at all since they cannot be lifted forwarded or moved in any way. We are having to create a bracket to extend the foot pad out an additional 6.5 inches since it does not move except to foldaway Very poor design since most people that are in a wheelchair do not sit with their legs going straight down.

I am very pleased with this chair (a step up from another brand's chair), EXCEPT, things keep coming unscrewed such as buttons that can't be tightened because of the design and that fall off and get lost. I have requested replacements, and they were quick and responsive about sending replacements. But now I need to call again, and it's a pain. I don't know what I'll do when the warranty runs out.
2.0 out of 5 stars Bad for self propelling, not ideal for being pushed either
This chair is super lightweight but that is about the only plus I have for it. Push rims are too narrow to comfortably grip to self propel. The wheels are also a bit too far back to be comfortable if you are going to be primarily propelling yourself.This chair is also pretty flimsy. The back support is basically non existent. Even with my ergonomic cushion it caused extra hip pain.This chair is also not curvy friendly. As a part time wheelchair user that has a bigger butt It can be hard to find good options on the market. If you have long legs I would definitely avoid this chair as the foot plate placement is not ergonomic at all for a longer legged human.The tires are also hard plastic and provide virtually no traction making it borderline unsafe over surfaces that aren’t perfectly smooth unless you have someone to push you and even then provides basically no shock absorption.I only used this chair for a total of about 3 hours before noticing these issues. You are better off searching for a chair secondhand or spending more money to get something that is made better.

It came and arms don’t lock it, brakes disappeared off the arms on the rear,,no anti-tip bars, unsafe and dangerous to use . Going to return as it is bad .

Perfect chair for my mom lightweight and it’s really a good chair. It doesn’t fail for somebody to ask where we got it. Weird to say but it’s a beautiful wheelchair.
