Honestly as described. No additives. Real Potatos. Among the best I have come across. Flavorful. Creamy or thicker, prepare as you wish, your way. Go well with gravy. They stay warm after prepared. Compliment the meal well or as a meal by itself. Also, tastes great a potato soup. There is plenty of Potatos in each pouch to serve at least 4 Adults a side of Potatos. It says 8. Well, if you are a potato eater, I am going to say two servings per adult for a side of Potatos. Fresh. Clean. Smell like Potatos. No noticeable salts. Appearance is warming, inviting, appetizing. A little pricey yet good choice to maintain better health when using dried foods. Absolutely a good product. Recommend buy a case and stock up! Company is quick to deliver, well packed, packages are very durable and liquid will not get inside box. Each individual bag is made of heavy thick plastic. Eight bags with 8 servings each. Very neatly done and well put together.

These are the greatest instant potatoes I have found. Super easy to use and cooks up as quick as it takes your stove to boil water. The consistency is perfect and because of all of that I would say definitely a good value for the money.

I have severe health issues that began in my 20's over 50 years ago and I am still here. Food is the ultimate course of treatment for any health issue so I had to become an excellent cook preparing my meals with safe herbs, veggies, fruits and fish - no twinkies or prepared food for me and no Kentucky fried chix either. Ode to Burger King, so sad, so dark, oh yummy Whopper, we had to part.But I search. Longingly. I saw this product, studied it and wanted to believe.Low sodium 220mg. No saturated fat or cholestrol-0. And no sugar-0. Dietary fiber 1g. And Total fat 0.5g - no saturated or trans fat.Carbs 17g. It is beyond easy to prepare when you just are having a difficult day. My Chi insists his contract says he does the eatin' not the cookin' so I cook - no excuses. His contract also says no kibble just dog healthy home cooking. BaileyBoy,Chihuahua,Contract Expert.My husband used to laugh at me years ago when the waitress asked,"Dessert?" He knew I would answer, "Could I have mashed potatoes, please?"It's been years and years since I have had potatoes in my diet due to high potassium content and I couldn't "imitation" anything.But this product of real idaho potatoes is 270 mg potassium easily managed on my 2.7-3g/day goal.I recorded the data in case you have dietary issues with potassium too.Oh, without anything added except 2 tbsp [suggests 4 tbsp] butter and 1 cup cold Silk Almond Milk [suggests whole milk] I had the mashed potatoes as the side with peas and sockeye salmon cakes - for breakfast! Lunch was too long to wait... Best potato product ever! Can't wait to make a MP & Veggie Casserole, Garlic MP, MP & Marinara and Vegan meatballs, MP Dumplings, Potpie topped with MP on a slice of cheese instead of crust, anything topped with Mashed Potatoes. Enough for 3 hefty or 4 normal family or 8 restaurant servings in each pouch with 8 pouches per box - really a possible 64 servings, as I figure it.You can add salt or anything, but for those of us restricted so we can stay out of the hospital I feel like I found gold! 10 stars.Sorry for the essay, I am a widow, rather isolated, and I just had to share the joy!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:These are the best. Why ? only 3 Ingredients !!!!! That's right : Potatoes, Butter and Salt.I think these taste the most like real mashed potatoes because they don't have all that other junk in them.These are made by Idahoan. But you look at their other labelled brand(s) and the ingredients list is long and unpronounceable. You can even buy these on their site (in a pinch).

Delicious! No unnecessary additives. No fake flavors. Tastes (almost) like homemade and can be made in just a few minutes. Tip: If you’re out of milk, you can make them with all water. Not quite as good or creamy without milk, but still delicious. These are a staple in our pantry and used at family holiday feasts to simplify the work for a large group.

I just received these potatoes yesterday. Of course, fresh potatoes are the best, but these instant potatoes are the next best thing. I'm single, and it is hard for me to get through a bag of potatoes. Before I know it, they are growing "horns" (roots)! I always look for food without chemicals. I was buying Bob's Red Mill Potato Flakes, but these Honest Earth Creamy Mash Instant Potatoes are even better than Bob's!!!! One package will make me a few servings of potatoes. Each pouch says it will make 8 servings, but I think that would be a kid's portion. I can get 4 or 5 servings from 1 pouch. They have a great potato flavor and are very creamy. They don't hurt my stomach! (I have ulcers!) The only bad thing I can say is that they are pricey. However, I would spend more for a food that was healthier and better tasting over cheap, chemical-laden food-like garbage! I highly recommend these!

You definitely need to add your own seasoning to them once cooked, but they are still tasty regardless.And yes the packages themselves look very small, but it still makes about 2.5 cups potatoes cooked, so it’s still a decent portion.Are they crazy expensive? Yes unfortunately they are. But if you’re only eating them once in awhile I think they are still worth it
