Really helps with shedding, 5 stars!!
The left picture is before I started using this scalp serum and the right is after. They are about a year apart in pictures. The right I can tell my hair is thicker, fuller, less shedding. I use the serum every day to every other day and I can really notice a difference in shedding from when I use it to when I dint, even if I go a week without it. I keep going back to this serum because I'm so surprised on how well it works. I'd recommend for anyone who wants to combat shedding
Effective Product at a Great Price!
When I lost a bunch of weight, I lost a bunch of hair too. To help remedy this problem I tried so many different things. Some products didn’t work, some left my hair feeling oily, sticky or crunchy and another one that really worked was $150 per month which was unsustainable. The reviews on this product were good so I gave it a try along with a rubber type brush to stimulate blood flow and spread the product. I have been using it for two months now and yesterday someone actually told me that I have thick hair! This product contains effective ingredients, it is not sticky or oily and most importantly it works really well at helping to thicken and regrow lost hair. It comes with a dropper and it is a clear liquid. No strong smell and easy to distribute on the scalp with no irritation. Not only does it work but it has an excellent price point. I will continue to use this hair product and I very highly recommend.
Pleasantly surprised — will update after more time
I'm only about 3 weeks in, so I want to be upfront that this is an early impression — but I'm already noticing less hair in the shower drain and on my brush, which is honestly more than I expected this soon. I wasn't sure a serum at this price point would do much, but the shedding reduction alone has me keeping it in my routine.Application is straightforward — I use it at night directly on my scalp and massage it in. The texture is light and doesn't make my hair feel weighed down or greasy by morning. No irritation on my end either, which I was a little worried about.Holding off on 5 stars until I've used it longer and can speak to actual density improvement, but so far the results are promising. Will update after a couple more months. Cautiously recommended if you're dealing with excess shedding.
A Solid Supporting Serum for Hair Density and Strength
I wanted to share a positive review of The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density. The photo attached shows my two-month results, achieved using this serum alongside other hair-growth products, including minoxidil.While this peptide serum won’t deliver dramatic results on its own, I truly believe it plays an important supporting role in a hair growth routine. The science behind the ingredients is solid. Peptides act as cellular messengers, encouraging scalp cells to repair, regenerate, and remain in the active growth phase longer. Copper peptides, in particular, help stimulate hair follicles, promote scalp health, and can even increase follicle size, often resulting in thicker strands and improved density. This serum also includes botanical complexes such as Redensyl, which support scalp circulation and help extend the growth phase. There are many other beneficial ingredients I won’t dive into here, or this review would get far too long but the bottom line is this serum is supportive, not miraculous. Results are gradual, but absolutely worthwhile with patience and consistency. I apply it about 30 minutes after using minoxidil each day, and I’ve found that routine works well for me. If you’re on a hair-growth journey, this is a great product to incorporate into your regimen.
It never states it regrows hair
Pay attention to what it says it does - it supports denser-thicker-fuller “LOOKING” hair. It does not say it regrows hair. I didn’t find that it made my hair look thicker at all. It is a lightweight formula and did not make my hair look oily. There is no odor. It supports scalp health which is good for the hair so I give it 3 stars.

I love using this product- I am attempting to fix damaged hair, and growth. I was afraid to use an oil because I didn't want my hair to look oily every day. The instructions on how and when to use the product are very clear, and it doesn't leave my hair oily at all. I have used it for about a week now and I have already seen an impressive difference! I can't wait to see the growth and damage repair in a month! I am a natural brunette and have been dying my hair a warm bright blonde for years now- I totally recommend this product!
Worth it!
I always had pretty thin hair but it got to the point where I felt very insecure of the lack of hair I had. I decided to give this a try and see if it would help and it definitely did. I did make other changes besides adding the serum such as: washed my hair less, stopped dying/bleaching my hair, ate better and started an exercise routine. I'm not saying you need all that, just what I changed and what could've also helped. Also the results are after 6 months so it will take time but totally worth it. At night I do my skin routine and my hair serum treatment. I add a few drops of serum and message it into my scalp with a rubber head messager I bought at the dollar store. It's been 6 months and my hair feels great and also looks fuller. I still have some serum left so it does last long enough to see the results. Definitely now a staple product to my "me" care.
Good price, but oily
Okay, I am going to start out giving it 3 stars for price point and ease of use, but it definitely does cause my hair to look greasy, so I have to wash it more often. I had been losing a lot of hair when I wash it, so I was only washing it once or twice a week. But I bought a biotin and rosemary shampoo to go with this and I am only using this the night before washing my hair. I feel confident in my regimine now. I know that biotin and rosemary work and I am also using a $7 dermaroller and 12 minutes of red light therapy. Each of them has studies and should work on their own.
