The traditional (old-style) shower chair and made with hard plastic that is cold and rough on the surface. The iLiving rotating swivel seat is equipped with a padded seat, backrest, and armrest. The medical-grade, closed-cell polyurethane cushion is slip-resistance and water-resistance that makes the surface easy to clean and very comfortable to sit on. The swivel design will rotate 360º with a 7-position control latch, the seat can be fixed at 7 positions allowing the shower chair to be fitted into all sizes of showers and bathtubs, big or small, narrow or wide. The armrest can be unlatched to allow easy access to the seat, and securely pivot down to lock. The height-adjustable legs can be adjusted with 5 levels, from 19.5" to 23.5". The all-aluminum tubular frame is sturdy and robust, which can support up to 300 pounds. The shower chair is ideal for seniors, disabled, handicapped, and pregnant women.

This is a "top-of-the-line-product"!....I love how sturdy it is, how it can swivel (or not!). It looks great! It's comfortable and the padding is nice and soft. I put it together in minutes and find it very safe! It costs a little more than many of the other chairs, but worth it!

I have a disabled child who is paraplegic. This seat is perfect for our tiny shower in our camper (RV). The seat is a soft but sturdy material, it turns well and is very safe for the occupant. She feels secure in it, because she can lean on the armrests...which also can be moved up & out of the way. It's a great product and works perfectly for us.

While I would have preferred a grey or muted tone for my shower chair, this one checked all the boxes and was available as a returned item, significantly lowering the price and making it more affordable within my budget. Despite being a return, it was impeccably packaged with protective foam and arrived in brand-new condition.Because of my Dysautonomia (autonomic neuropathy), which worsens in the shower, I needed a safe, comfortable place to sit since I kept slipping off my built-in shower seat. This chair is perfect! It is height adjustable to suit your preference (I’m 5’8”), and the foam cushioning is much more comfortable than plastic while still repelling water. The chair is sturdy enough to support my heavier-than-preferred frame, and assembly was simple. Best of all, it swivels, allowing easy front entry before turning to bring your feet inside the shower. The arms also raise up and out of the way for smooth side transfers.Overall this mobility aid has made showering much less scary and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

I found that the seat of the chair is uncomfortable and hard. Plus I also found that the chair is too tall. I made it as short as I could but it only shortened it but it still is tall.

I got this to use getting a special person in and out of the pool. I used the one legs with no extension and the other legs on a low extension setting. Shortest ones sat on the side. The longer legs sat on the top step.Person got seated and comfortable, then I could turn her in or out of the pool. Made our life so much nicer. I quit asking my husband to make handrails! Sturdy! Pool water was well tolerated by the metal. It was easy to place and remove when not in use.
