⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Game Changer for Our Pool!I’ve never written an Bolo review before, but these Clear Blue Luster Filter Balls were so incredible, I had to share. Our pool cover failed over the winter, and when we opened it, the water was a dark green mess full of debris. After a full month of nonstop cleaning, vacuuming, and adjusting chemicals—with barely any progress—I had accepted that swimming before August was probably a lost cause.That all changed when I came across these filter balls. Within a week of using them, our pool transformed. The water went from swampy to sparkling clear! I honestly couldn’t believe how fast they worked.We’re still vacuuming daily and staying on top of our chemical levels, but it wasn’t until we added these filter balls that we finally started to see real results. If you’re struggling with cloudy or dirty water and wondering what to try next—this is it. These things made all the difference and saved our summer!

I've been servicing pools for almost 30 years and this product perks my intersest. I've serviced many sand filters with sand, glass and zeolite. I'll be putting this product into my own pool sand filter to try it out. I think it will filter well.Update;Used in my personal pool for 8 months and removed it for inspection. I did not backwash before removing the balls so I could evaluate buildup. Balls were somewhat dirty, probably could have filtered a few more months. I put them back in the filter and backwashed. I again inspected the balls and they did look cleaner but I’m sure they won’t look new again. I removed the balls with my 16 gallon shop vac after draining off the water. These balls do drain well and after draining they just feel moist not wet. I’m impressed so far. Water is sparkling. Ad mentions that clarifiers should not be used with this product. I would recommend a product called SeaClear to help with clarity if necessary. SeaClear works differently than petroleum based clarifiers so I think it’s safe to use here. I haven’t needed to use anything other than standard pool chemicals. Other negative reviews about backwashing will be taken into consideration in my ongoing evaluation.Update 2:These probably do not backwash well. I would think that having to shop vac out the balls and run them through a commercial washing machine every 6 months or a year would get to be quite a pain. So unless you like putting in the time to do that then these balls would not be a good choice. The absolute best media for sand filters is the crushed glass product with the glass pebbles used as pea gravel. Glass “sand” lasts a recommended 10 years compared to 5 years for silica sand. Glass media backwashes faster and cleaner than sand. The glass media does cost more but lasts twice as long, filters better, backwashes better and is NOT hazardous like silica sand.

Switched from sand in my Intex 2100 to these balls just to try out, first week they were great. Water flow was strong and they seem to be working okay, and then after a week the flow was horrible.Backwashed and the water seems clear, ran for a couple minutes to be sure. Started pump on filter and the flow was a little better but just below the yellow line.Was like this for a week, going out and back washing once or twice a day just to keep my skimmer going. Couldn't use my vacuum because not enough water flow.Opened it up today and the water in the filter and balls were brown and filthy, for some reason backwashing doesn't clean them out. I had to pull them all out and wash in the washing machine in a laundry bag.I'm not doing this every week so I already ordered some glass media to try, the sand was working fine but wanted to see what all the hype was about. I'd stay away from these unless you want to do the extra work.
