I have been on a quest for a replacement for my 20 year old am/fm CD clock radio which had features they just don't offer today. I tried another brand and returned it. This one, although not feature perfect, has come closest, and it's a keeper. On the positive side, the sound is excellent. Surprisingly so. It has am radio, and digital tuning. On the negative side, it has only one preset each for an am and fm which means you need to hit the search button when you want to change stations. Also, the station you are listening to when you go to bed is the one you will up to. (I like listening to soft, easy listening music while falling asleep, but like to wake up to a news/weather station.) And when the radio is on the display shows the station you're on constantly instead of reverting back to the time. So now I use an Echo Dot with a clock to show the time. Lastly, when tapping the sleep timer, it makes a very "plastic" clicking noise that sounds like it's going to break. They could have put some rubber in there to soften the noise. All these negatives are minor and I value the positives enough to keep this.

Are you kidding me Jensen?? I was expecting a way better product from you! My old Jensen radio alarm clock is dying, so this looked like a good replacement. This is way more inferior to the one that I’ve had for at least 15 years. I am so disappointed and pretty angry. The set up for this alarm clock is ridiculous and frustrating and secondly, the main reason why I will return this is when the alarm goes off whether you have it set at radio, CD or alarm, yes, it starts out a extremely low volume and then quickly increases the volume ALL THE WAY UP! There is no midway volume and you have no way of turning the volume down while the alarm is going off so unless you are hard of hearing or prefer to keep your alarm clock across the room, I would highly recommend NOT TO purchase this! On the plus side it sounds good and would work as a regular radio clock. I am asking for a full refund and no I do not recommend as an alarm clock.

I purchased this Radio/CD Alarm Clock to have a clock and play music at my desk while I work. The device is a convenient size, and the music tone is adequate, tho not great. The radio does not have any preset station buttons; one must scan and search to change stations. When playing a CD, the clock display disappears and the time elapsed of the music track is displayed instead. I am fairly disappointed.
