Works well, is just what I wanted for my 11 year old. He can watch movies or tv shows on dvd on his "dumb" tv without being connected to any streaming service. This should take him back a couple of decades nicely.

I bought this so i would be able to play my japanese dvds on it. It works perfectly and displays the videos nicely. The only annoying thing is that the power cable and the hdmi cables are super short so it was difficult to set it up in the intended place. might want to get cable extenders

My main purpose in buying this device was to play MP4s from a USB. When I plug in a 3.0 USB the player returns an "invalid key" error message. The manual gives no explanation for that error. I plugged in a 2.0 USB and the machine recognizes it, but seems to be stuck on reading it. By that I mean, as I write this, the USB stick has been in the player for a while and the USB light keeps flashing, as if it's being read. Info from the USB appears on the screen, but the menu is unresponsive. How long does it take to read a USB? It's probably a 60gb USB. But this is unacceptable. It's likely I'll be returning this player.

Que los Blu ray, jalan en la región donde yo vivo, y hace años compre una serie, que algunas temporadas eran para la región 4 y otras temporadas eran región 1, y solo un dvd multirregión, funcionarían todas las temporadas con ese DVDplayer, excelente

Pretty good
I like how there's a little screen on the DVD player. It might be easy for many to overlook this little feature, but this feature was instantly helpful for me. I've gone through about two DVD players in the past year as neither seemed to read the discs. I tried cleaning them, but still nothing. It appeared like I was about to experience this for a third time until I noticed on the DVD player screen that the disc was actually playing. Even though I had the input on my TV set to "DVD" apparently this is NOT the input to use on my TV if I want to watch a DVD. I don't understand, but whatever. I just wonder if I actually got rid of two perfectly good DVD players before buying this one all because my TV is stupid (and apparently I might be as well? But wouldn't most people think the DVD setting should work for DVD's?)My one complaint (I just need to email them but keep forgetting to when I'm checking my email) is I guess my daughter or her friend did something that I can't figure out how to fix on my own. I've attempted button mashing ones that seem like they should be able to help, but they don't. Again, this will probably be resolved once I actually get around to emailing them, it's just annoying that children can so easily f something up that is not so easily rectified and the kids claim they don't know what happened. (They made the screen incredibly small. You see that little white box with the company name and email address? That's how I had to watch the entirety of Edward Scissorhands.)
Good player and price
A good combo DVD and CD player which is now considered old school. But as I have ''still'' many DVD'S I wanted to purchase player. Nice looking and functions only drawback it does not shut off automatically. After falling asleep and waking up hours later it's still on. Otherwise a nice purchase!
