I’ve only been using this moisturizer with zinc oxide (sun protection) for a couple of weeks, and so far it’s great. Glides on smoothly, unlike thick sunscreens that can get blotchy, and it absorbs quickly. My skin feels very soft and fine lines disappear, so I know the moisturizer is working. I’ve had problems with the drying effects of sunscreen in the past. No discernible scent, which is a plus.It does leave a faint whitish cast that disappears after a minute or two, and my skin tone looks even. The very faint “glow” or hint of zinc oxide reduces some of the redder spots on my sensitive skin, so I am able to use this alone as foundation. Makes it easy to reapply every two hours to continue the sun protection.It’s important to remember that no sunscreen product lasts all day—always follow the directions and reapply to keep sun protection active.I really like the safety rating this cream received from EWG—this is rare for sun protection products. It’s not perfect, but since I have to moisturize and use sunscreen, this product gives me all that without added worry about health and safety concerns.I live in the Pacific Northwest and we haven’t had many full-sun days since I started using it, but so far the sunscreen factor seems to be working. Because this product glides on so easily I am able to avoid areas of missed coverage. I will update this review when I’ve tested it in the summer, but I expect that I’ll need a full sunscreen if I’m spending all day outside.Reading other reviews, I’m concerned to see that people use this as both day and nighttime moisturizer. Zinc oxide is one of the safer sunscreen options, but give your skin and overall health a break by using this only during the day (even on cloudy days). Wash your face in the evening and apply a non-zinc moisturizer overnight. I think Vanicream makes one if you like the way this product feels.

This is my favorite moisturiser/sunscreen for the summer. I really wanted something that was mineral-based but without a white cast. I also didn’t want to pay too much money.On my FAIR skin this leaves absolutely ZERO white cast.It creates a beautiful refreshing dewy look on my normal-dry skin.I also have sensitive eczema-prone skin, and this gives me zero irritation.It is truly a wonderful moisturizer that leaves your face glowing and soft with no white cast. And the price is pretty good too.PS My husband has medium brown skin and this moisturizer doesn’t leave any white cast on his skin as well. He also has combination type skin and this is not too oily for him.

This is the best facial cream I have ever used. It's not greasy- the texture is perfect and has an SPF sunscreen of 30. Fantastic for sensitive skin. Now I'm hoping that this review does not help cause an increase in cost because it is very reasonably priced.

I’ve recently been using the Yuka app to decide on what is safe and healthy to buy. This product in rated safe. I had tried the Native brand which is also rated highly, however it is not as creamy as this product.Since it is October, I do not know how well it protects against sunburn. But as a facial moisturizer, I give it 2 thumbs up.

I have been searching for a good facial sunscreen for a while. This is unfortunately another one for my bin of sunscreen flops. Note that I have very oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. This product was used for typical daily wear (for me, taking several 10-minute walks in the hot summer sun throughout the day). I don't sweat much, but I am typically quite oily even without moisturizing products.Pros:- Very moisturizing. It would be good for someone with very dry skin. My skin looked exceptionally well hydrated.- Unscented. My skin tends to react poorly to scented products. This had no scent.- Does protect against the sun. With proper application, I have never burned with this product.Cons:- VERY greasy. I applied just enough sunscreen to cover my skin. It felt like I was covered in an oily film. My whole face had a slick sheen to it. It was especially greasy looking in the summer sun.- Does leave a slight white cast. I would say my skin tone is lightly tanned. There was a light but noticeable white film over my whole face, even after rubbing in and drying down for 15 minutes. Would be best for those with fairer skin tones.- Thick formulation. It was difficult to apply in a uniform layer because of how thick the product was. I prefer a more liquidy formulation for even, light coverage. It felt very oily/film-like on my skin even after drying down.

Perfect facial moisturizer for basic daily use as recommended by my dermatologist. I am mature at 75 years old with healthy skin that needs sunscreen daily. This product is not pasty. It is creamy, not greasy. It does not flake nor pill up as some products do. I wear it alone for a healthy glowing look. It is my favorite go-to facial sunscreen product - and I have several products and have tried many products over the years in search of attractive, healthy protection. The ingredients are clean and trust-worthy. The Vanicream brand is excellent and recommended specifically by my trusted long-time dermatologist.

Have tried tons of clean sunscreens and this is my favorite: no white cast whatsoever, rubs in fast, super moisturizing, and no breakouts. My friends borrowed some as well and they said it was their favorite and felt so good on their skin.
