The stock ones are just rated to the exact weight and should really be changed out after a while. Went with the 6 leaf up from a 4 and love the easy instal. Make sure to have a couple jacks to remove tension to make this go a lot smoother. Was also able to upgrade my wheel and tire size because of these.

I put these on my 14k 5th wheel to replace the broken “6k” axle springs. Lifted the trailer about 2” making it robe more level. I replaced the plastic bushings it comes with with brass bushings and a wet bolt kit so everything would last longer. Only bad thing is that some of the eyes are oval shaped making bolt installation a little harder but still pretty easy.

I ordered the bronze bushing to replace the cheap nylon ones and pressed them in but the eyelets were out of round. Had a terrible time getting them mounted. I would not recommend these leaf springs.
