I bought the thermometer to help in cooking our Christmas Prime Rib Roast and it worked exactly as it was advertised. The roast came out at just the right temperature and was perfect. Of course a good rub and a bit of butter & brown sugar added to the great crust and flavor.

Great price and it's higher quality than I expected for the price. Bought it to use for the Thanksgiving turkey and it worked great. Probe cable is plenty long. I've never had confidence with cooking meats but with this thing now I plan on trying to grill and cook more meats like whole chickens, salmon, etc. that I otherwise wouldn't have even attempted after being able to cook a great turkey with it.

Works great so far and easy to program.The only reason why I didn't rate it as a five, was because one of the magnets came off the first time that I mounted the unit to the stove.No biggie. Some type of clear glue should fix this problem.

The presets are not correct - Chicken should cook to 165 degrees and fish to 145 degrees. I can get past that. This product, however, stopped working 4 months after purchase. Without placing it in food, it registered the temp over 120 degrees in the kitchen - yes, at room temp. Checked their website and YouTube and followed all the reset directions. Temp probe still not reading correctly. Called customer support, who walked me through the reset steps again. Still not working properly. Customer Support said they will mail me a replacement . . . but the replacement is not the same; it is a folding instant read thermometer, not the kind I purchased with a wired probe you leave in the food while the digital section stays on the counter. Called customer service a number of times and left messages but no word back.UPDATE: Customer Service reached out to me (though they referenced a previous email we did not receive). They offered a full refund, which we accepted. It saved us having to return the item through Bolo.

Demasiado delicado
Solo lo pude usar 2 veces, a la tercera lo coloqué sobre las llamas y se quemó el cable. Fue mi error pero aún así me parece que es muy delicado y tienes que usarlo con extremo cuidado, per para el asado a veces esto es dificil. Prefiero buscar una solución mucho más robusta.
Can't cook without it
Should have bought one of these a long tie ago, much better than a stick thermometer. Use it all the time now, and have not blown a meal after about 20 times using this handy tool.
