Update:Customer service reached out quickly to me and offered to replace the shaker which I appreciate but is. It needed as my friend was able to get the shaker working for me (the top had jammed and I could not move it). I think part of the problem was the salt I have has very fine crystals. My friend is stronger than me and got the lid twisting again. I would suggest if you have one of these shakers and its lid gets jammed get some help and twist the lid clockwise or reach out to customer service. My shaker is working really well now and happy as it looks great (like new).Previous review:I have only used this a few times a week for about a month and the lid is now impossible to use. Salt crystals have got jammed under it and I can't adjust it and it's stuck on the opening that will just pour salt on food. I liked the idea of having a glass shaker with the metal to protect it, it's attractive but is just not effective. My last shaker was very inexpensive and plastic and was over 10 years old when it broke....

This is an attractive looking set that can hold a lot of seasonings, so it doesn't need to be refilled as often. It is about 2 1/8" dia. x 4 1/2" tall. Since it is larger, someone with small hands might not be as pleased as I am.The top turns to select either full pour, larger holes, smaller holes or full off (nice if you live with high humidity). One of my set had a cap that turned easily, the other was a bit stiff.The smallest setting still allows salt to pass freely, no shaking needed, but you can turn the cap so only a few holes are open greatly reducing the flow and giving you better control.Overall, a nice buy!

I bought these shakers because I was looking for shakers I could use for both cooking and I could use at the table, The adjustable lid offers a pour Slot for measuring, another twist of the lid and you have larger holes for cooking, another twist and you have small holes for adding a little more at the table, or you can close it all the way on hot humid days to prevent clumping!They are a good size set and won’t need to be filled often.They are glass with a stainless steel sleeve that slides over them and are very attractive!When my package came I put them together and tested the lids, everything seemed to work fine so I washed them and left them to dry overnight. The next morning I filled them and that night at dinner, one of the rotating adjustable lids failed me , it wouldn’t turn at all.My husband looked at it and monkied around with it some, but could not find a solution.When I first opened the box I remembered a Card was tucked inside that said STOP, if you have any issues with this product contact us((with an email address), not the seller(Bolo)So that’s exactly what I did. This is a small family business, a husband and wife team who got back with me immediately, apologized for the malfunction and sent me out another set immediately, and didn’t require me to send the faulty set back!So yes I def. Recommend this and every other item this brand sells!!

UPDATE: seller offered to send me replacement set for no cost. i had already purchased another set that i prefer (i do alot of cooking and found something with side spout which is easier for filling that teaspoon) so i declined. they refunded my original purchase. changed my review from 1 star to 3.salt shaker has cracks in the glass already, have had less than 2 mths. the metal exterior goes down over the glass container. If the shaker gets knocked over, or as you turn it sideways to use, the salt (or pepper) inside the glass can come out and get between the glass and metal, making it hard to re-open to refill or to stick a teaspoon in there for cooking. I was struggling to get it re-opened. maybe that's when it cracked? i didn't notice at the time and just put it back to do later.

These shakers are as described but better. Very easy to fill and refill but the good part is you do not have to fill them constantly as they have a very substantial glass container so filling is not as often. They fit in your hand great, almost feels they were just made for your hand. They look very attractive on the table and I have had many compliments. Love the product!!
