Ordered it and I received it within five days to my home. You must activate the kit online the same day that you complete your sample. Make sure not to activate the kit if you are not doing your sample yet. I made the mistake of activating it and sending in my sample three days later. I did email them and let them know that it was a mistake and they went ahead and changed the date of the sample taken which is very important because you must mail out your sample within 24 hours of taking it. I got my results seven days later via email. I do recommend this company and test.

This company give results either completely useless or only understandable to a doctor. I wasted hours looking up how to read the results and nothing helps as every other test gives results different than this company. They said 1 mutation each. That's it. No specifics about what that is, what it means, or what to do. On other sites there are apparently a bunch of different ways it can be a mutation and what groups it can have but this company wont tell you. There is no number grade to see where on a scale your at, no explanation of what is good and what is not, no nothing. Absolutely DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY use a different company.

This was great for testing my 3yo for MTHFR before an anesthesia procedure. I was worried about having to do a blood draw, but saw that these were saliva based and went for it.It was an easy process. Washing hands, swabbing his cheek with a cotton swab a few times and sealing it in a tube. You have to register and mail it in the same day, so be sure to fully read and understand the instructions.We mailed it in and got our results back within the week, which was great timing too.Would use these tests again.

The report they sent you is very interesting. I learned a lot about my ancestry, which was very interesting, but I also learned about possible health conditions, including possible genetic problems. If you’re concerned about certain health conditions that your parents or grandparents suffered from, this test will give you an idea if you’ve inherited any conditions. The test will also show you people in your immediate area who are related to you. Which was pretty interesting. I didn’t know any of them. The only negative is that if you want more information, you have to pay more for extra reports. In other words, they don’t give you all the information, you have to pay more to see more information. in fact, they will want you to subscribe if you want to get deeper into your ancestry or health conditions. Overall, I would say that it is a worthwhile thing to do.

This test was extremely easy to use. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The product comes with the FedEx overnight package and label, just have to drop it off at a FedEx location. Would purchase other tests from this company.

The drop off points to return the completed test by FedEx are all in the USA
Cant use if you live anywhere but US
If you live in Canada you cant use this. Not sure why its sold on Bolo.ca. Cant get this test from my “doctor” either. Man, Canada sucks.
This kit doesn't work for the UK
The kit arrived and I tried to register it on our computer. The registration page would only accept US addresses and phone numbers. Eventually got through to the firm involved and they apologised and said they could not accept tests from the UK. I have returned the kit to them and they have promised a full refund including postage.Bolo please note : this kit cannot suit UK customers.
Don’t purchase if not in the US
Purchased the kit from Bolo.ca - not sure why this is offered on the Canadian site when you can’t use it from Canada.
