Convenient packaging coupled with excellent quality. Hummingbirds cannot tolerate organic sugar. Any percentage of molasses or impurity can seriously harm them. This sugar is pure cane sugar.

The three(3)20 OZ. containers of this sugar arrived in a box that had the distinct fragrance of what smelled like soap. The sugar containers smelled the same as did the sugar inside the containers, and the sugar has a taste like soap. I don't know if this particular lot of this brand of sugar lies with the sugar company or with "Bolo". I suspect the sugar containers(made from cardboard)were possibly stored next to a soap product which transferred it's fragrance to the sugar. That is entirely possible as I've used this brand of sugar in the past and had no complaints with it. That's why I rated this product with only one star. I would have given it a "0" rating if it were possible.
