(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } First things first: I have what was a $400 Alesis Nitro Max kit. It is now a Franken-kit with new cymbals, new snare and new kick pedal. The original cymbals were just fine for a $400 e-kit. However, I didn't really like them and the hi hat was the low point. I replaced that hard plastic Alesis fixed rack mounted hi hat cymbal with this Lemon 11" cymbal and it works beautifully. It is quieter.. It triggers great and it also just looks better. I plan to upgrade the entire kit within the year and I'll have a much better hi hat setup with the new kit. But if any of the cymbals are not to my liking, I'll be back for more of these Lemon cymbals.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great ride
A great ride cymbal!! Thank you Lemon! 👍
5.0 out of 5 stars Decent Cymbals, Great Service
These are a great, affordable alternative to the more expensive big brands (Roland). They are a little less robust, build-wise, hence the price-- but they do the trick. One big thing I will mention is that their service is great. I contacted them about an issue and they were very responsive and really went above and beyond to help out.
4.0 out of 5 stars A great choice for an e-cymbal on a budget.
First off, I don't know what it is in particular but MAN I love the look of these cymbals. They're nothing super premium but they have a very sleek look and gave me a great first impression. For me, these worked perfectly straight out the box. I know some people have had a different experience with Lemon cymbals depending on their module and setup but this thing was literally plug and play into my Alesis Strike module. Some settings adjustments like sensitivity and HH control offset might be needed, I'm still tinkering with mine at the moment. They definitely have a bit of a cheaper vibe than other cymbals but I think for the price it's still a great option. The pads definitely make a louder thumping sound when struck but other than that there's really not much to complain about.TLDR: As long as it's is compatible with your particular module, a Lemon cymbal could be a great option to upgrade or replace a cymbal pad on your e-kit. Definitely recommended.
5.0 out of 5 stars Don't even hesitate if you need to upgrade your Alesis hi hats!!
Don't even hesitate if you need to upgrade you hi hats. I used these on an Alesis Strike Pro... Their hi hat whether on a hi hat stand or using the pedal struggle to function well. When I finally decide to buy this it immediately improved the function and even the sound of my hi hat....Is it like a real hi hat? No.. Is it as good as the hi end Roland hi hat? No... But for under $200 you'll be VERY pleased with the way it works..Some technical stuff:If you get this with the Alesis (only if you want it to be perfect), you're going to need to use the Alesis editing program to get a good closed, half open, and full open sound. There's a zillion YouTube videos on this. You'll make it happen!!Good luck!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Its both too good and very true
After reading lots of subpar reviews about the Roland CY-16R and considering the price different, I decided to take a chance on the Lemon 15" Crash/Ride. The first cymbal I received had an issue with the bell trigger. Their customer service contacted me (unprompted) to thank me and offer technical support. They helped me trouble shoot to determine there was an issue with the cymbal I received. It was easy/free to send back and I got a replacement that works flawlessly. All 3 triggers work great. Very responsive and seems very well built. I definitely recommend.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works with Roland TD-11k
works great. I use it with a Roland TD-11k kit using both the original RD and RDB leads to get sound out of all 3 triggers. I labeled it a CY-13R in the module and that was fine. I did have to go into the pad settings and boost the bell volume. Easy. The only bummer is that it didn't come with the felt and wing nut to mount it. The stand manufacturer said the cymbal manufacture should include it, seems to me the hardware should include it.. Either way I need a few more parts. What do you say Lemon?
3.0 out of 5 stars Works, but noisy
After using this cymbal sparsely over a few months, it sounds broken. The cymbal triggers, but hitting the bow or bell makes a physical rattling noise louder than the sound of the hit. I had hoped it was a one-off, but my 13" does the same thing, with a slightly different rattle.
Don’t be fooled!
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Bought 3 of these and a set of the hi hats to upgrade the cymbals/crashes as well as hi hats on the Alesis kit I got for Christmas (I knew from reviews that the ones that came with weren’t very good). So, after the holidays I moved to a new city and started a new job… not setting my new electric drums up until mid March. The lemon cymbals? They look phenomenal BUT with only maybe 20-30 minutes worth of playing the kit (they don’t even have marks from sticks!) the cymbals are intermittently working. The hi hats system is HORRIBLE! When I open them up wide it takes a split second to activate MEANING I have already lost the first beat or two on the open hats. For the cymbals… the nuts that attach them to the stands are VERY fragile. Installing them - one is f the screws went SiDEWAYS and popped out. Although broken, it still works as the piece under my ride and having the nut about the cymbal tighten it holds it in place well enough. To say I’m very disappointed would be a gross understatement. Since the return window is long gone - I’m sitting here out a TON of cash and going back to the ones that came with the kit.IF THEY COULD BE RETURNED… they would be. IF I COULD GO BACK IN TIME - I wouldn’t have bought them OR would have extensively tested them before the window closed. Probably the second one - as they look great and if they worked proper would be a great upgrade. If I could give less than 1 star I would… we are out around $600 CAD! The window is closed so I can’t even return them for a refund. :(

Alta calidad
Better than roland
Bought to add onto td17 Roland kit. Works brilliantly and with 3 zone it’s much better value than the Roland dual zone and at less than half the price.
Bonne qualité et compatible avec mon Alesis strike pro
Pour remplacer ma ride d’origine
A cheaper alternative.
This is by far, the best alternative to overpriced Roland and Yamaha high hats. But? Roland triggers are by far the best.
