This product will make 2 gallons of horticultural vinegar (20% concentration). This product should not be confused with household vinegar. This product is concentrated (45% acetic acid) to deliver the highest possible concentration to consumers. This product is intended to be diluted prior to use. Caution must be used when opening, pouring and using any dilution of this product. This product is provided in a gallon size so the consumer has a long-lasting supply at a high concentration so they may dilute as needed rather than buying multiple concentrations for different purposes. Works great for subduing weeds. Not a permanent fix as it doesn't kill the root 100% of the time, but it keeps the grass and weeds down for approx 2 months during a dry western Oregon summer. I use this in an area that I can't drive my lawn mower into so this helps keep the area from being overgrown. I do use this undiluted in hope that some of the growth is actually killed permanently. Lower percentages of vinegar didn't works as well as this 45%. 30% was pretty good but I figured 45% should be even better. Use rubber anti-acid gloves. This stuff is potent if left on your skin! 😬 Also be careful in tight areas as the smell is very strong if you don't have wind to keep the smell moving away.

Quick delivery and excellent protection from leakage.I use this as an ingredient in weed killer. I dilute this in half, it's still 22% and far strong to kill plants. I use half the salt needed and same amount of dish soap. Works great and far safer for the earth than commercial weed killers, I've used it with great results on poison ivy.

This is the only way I've been able to eradicate poison ivy without hand-pulling it (or using Roundup). We have tons of poison ivy and I'm terribly allergic. This agricultural-grade vinegar is so intense you can see fumes coming up when you pour it into a tank sprayer. It has effectively killed even very deep-rooted poison ivy vines. The areas where I've used it have filled in healthily with other plants, and we still have happy frogs and salamanders everywhere who would have been poisoned by most herbicides. Being able to save money by buying larger quantities at once is helpful. Highly recommend.

I have used this to clean rusty metal. Clean algae off my wood fences. Rinse bath shower. Make weed killer. Flush clothes washer. Clean concrete. Lots of uses many cleaning uses with various dilution rates.

0ne gallon vinegar one gallon water. One cup salt. One T spoon dish detergent. No more weeds down my 150ft gravel driveway. Theee applications per year to keep the weeds at bay in USDA zone 7. Have been using for several years now. Very satisfied Eye shield and gloves.
