I left the strips on for 2 hours. And my teeth were so white, I decided not to use the light. I drink 3-4 cups of strong coffee everyday, and they are still really white (after one application over two weeks ago). My gums were a little sensitive after 2 hours, but that only lasted a few hours after usage. Just be aware if you leave on more than 60 minutes. Then brush and rinse really good. I use their "brilliance" tooth paste as well.

Wish I had taken a before photo because my teeth are noticeably whiter after using these. I did not have any sensitivity using these strips, and followed directions exactly. I tried a professional whitening treatment from the dentist (with the custom fit and $450) but didn’t see much of a change. I started asking around to see what people did who had whiter teeth and they all said crest white strips. No joke, my teeth are much whiter with this product than the one from the dentist. Also the whitening has lasted. Three months later and I still have a much whiter smile. I am a total convert and will use this at least twice a year for maintenance - might do quarterly. Ten out of ten. I tried the 45 minutes without the light and the 1 hour with the light. The version with the light was more effective. I also wondered if the front teeth would look whiter than the back ones given the length of the strips but it’s not an issue. They figured out how long the strips need to be. I did find that if I dried my teeth first with a tissue that the strips stuck better and stayed on better. I also tried this during work hours when working from home but it changed my speech a tiny bit when I took calls (kind of like a lisp) so I now use these either before or after work.

It works. It was a recommendation from a friend. Now my hygienist uses it too. People are always commenting on how white my teeth are. I am in the maintenance phase. My only issue is the light. I have had several stop working. I purchased another kit and I use that light instead (more intense, connect thru my cellphone). HONEST REVIEW!!!

Initially the most effective teeth whitening product I’ve used, but the dramatic effect faded within one to two months. Toward the end of the treatment, multiple people at work asked me to tell them what I was using because the change was so obvious; unfortunately, that vibrant whitening effect dimmed quicker than expected. While perceptible, the power of Crest’s other whitening strips used in the past had a more profound impact long-term. Average amount of teeth/gum sensitivity for a whitening program during use; taking one day off helped to finish the full course. Sensitivity lasted a bit longer than other products after the program ended yet was still tolerable, and none of it was permanent. Bottom strips can be fickle if not applied with intent; no issues with upper strips. The light is not uncomfortable to wear for the instructed timeframe. Despite ease of use and expected sensitivity, the markup compared to other brand name or even Crest’s other whitening kits is questionable due to unsustained whitening effects.

Can’t get over how good these work
These work wonders, I usually don’t use the entire thing as recommended on the box, since my teeth get super sensitive, but just 2-3 days every few months does the job.
Do not buy this product
DO NOT BUY.Very harsh chemicals, I used once and it stripped all of the skin off of my gums and gave me huge ulcers. The chemical is hydrogen peroxide and is not suitable for putting in your mouth. Avoid at all costs.
