Old school Basmati rice? You could smell it. With this and most others, the fragrance seems to have been bred out of the strain of rice. It's like with pork chops, you have to hunt down a well marbled juicy one. Other than that, it's a beautiful long grain rice, longer grain than others on the market, and the 20lb size is worth the money. I would buy this over the other Basmati on the market.
