Much brighter than its predecessor, so you can put it in light rooms and it still looks great. It’s sleek and the way it sits when the base is behind it, it looks like some fancy art studio in my apartment. Sound is great and follows where the person speaks on the tv which I neat. Surround sound by bouncing sound off walls and ceiling works but I wouldn’t say it beats an actual sound system. I use a PS5 with seamless connection. Buying a Sony had everything to do with my PlayStation being my primary console. Although for streaming just using the goggle tv itself is nicer. Google has the tv formatted to show you your previously watched list from all your streaming services in one place. So you’re not having to jump around through the million different services we all got now. THEN there is the “find my remote” button on the tv… SOLD put it in my cart! Worth the money!

My tv arrived with fingerprints all over the screen and an already slightly warped and discolored base. My assumption is that I somehow ended up with a floor model or something. Nonetheless, this is a beautiful TV with absolutely gorgeous color. I would buy it again.First, I tried the flagship sony OLED from last year, and it arrived with damage on the screen so I had to return it. Upon approval of that return, soon after it left my home, I discovered that I could order this QD-OLED instead, the 65 inch. So I happen to have seen both, and the color on the QD-OLED is much better, much brighter than on the OLED. It is beautiful. I've never seen a TV even close to this.I actually wanted a new tv mainly to use with the PS5, and I'm here to confirm: it's mind-blowing.The reworked remote is nice - I appreciate the simplicity. The mic integration seems kind of sloppy (everything seems to go straight to search, with not much integration with system menu settings), o/w the system seems pretty okay and easy to use. I like the way the google tv puts all your shows from different services in one place.When I ordered this, I opted for the nice delivery option where they unbox it for you and even install it. This resulted in an undamaged TV. I recommend it!

The QD-OLED panel in this A95K convinced me it was time to take the plunge on OLED, after waiting almost 10 years for the technology to mature. I've had the TV about 6 weeks now and with every moment spent watching content, I'm glad I purchased this. The picture quality is on a whole other level compared to anything else I've seen before. Much better motion smoothness than the LG C2, which seems jerky to me. Only gripe about this is the Google TV interface, which (like every other Google product) still seems to be in beta testing. It's not a polished product. Installing new apps sometimes fails mysteriously. So far, uninstalling and reinstalling the app fixes it. Great OLED panel and hardware build quality. Not impressed by the software, but it gets out of the way enough to let me do what I expect from a TV: watch stuff. I exclusively stream content through the Google TV apps (e.g. Netflix, Prime, HBO), have not tested and no use for external input for movies or live TV.

I purchased this TV from the Sony Store on Bolo in November of 2022. Despite having great reviews—both on Bolo and Youtube—the TV is barely functional less 2 years later. Currently the TV will turn off on it's own (as if the power was pulled on it) and it will strobe a red LED 4 times. After speaking with customer support and 3rd party repair services (which are over an hour away from me), it looks like the cost to repair the TV will range from $150–$450 and will take between 1-2 weeks.I find it hard to believe I spent over $2,400 and got a TV that didn't even function after a year and 9 months.I should have been more skeptical when I saw Sony pushing their extended warranty services on me immediately upon starting the TV. I think these TVs were made to go bad shortly after the factory warranty expires as it is exactly what happened to me.All-in-all, I'd steer clear of any Sony TVs if this is how they're built. It can be especially annoying if there aren't repair services near you.

I bought and have lived with this TV for about two weeks. 3 grand is a lot for a 65 inch TV, when others can be bought for a lot less. I had been reading reviews for the A95K for a while, and many reviewers had said that this one may be the best there is. What motivated me to go ahead and buy, was the new technology that Sony came up with for the built-in sound. I have no desire to get a sound bar, and watch my TV with the TV sound 75% of the time, and only put the sound thru my stereo, using glass fiber-optic cable, for movies and sports. The speakers behind the display, and 2 subwoofers on the back give great sound for most listening. The picture is very sharp and detailed, and was a big step up from the 52 inch Sony Bravia it replaced. Setup with all my external peripherals was a bit challenging, but I enjoyed the challenge. I am a bit paranoid about the burn-in that OLED TVs are known for, so I am more careful about pausing video to do something else. The picture, compared to the same size Samsung, is warmer and more natural, with less of the reach out and grab you color. I may never have the best car or the best house on the market, but I feel that for a while, I have the best TV on the market. Highly recommended.

The picture quality difference was like going from a CRT to a plasma tv. Absolutely amazing.

This TV is really amazing. The picture quality is better than everything I have seen before. Furthermore, as typical for Sony products, it feels like the TV has a very high quality. The remote is also amazing. I love the lights so that you can see the buttons in the night. To set this device up was straightforward and I did not experience any problem.I purchased the TV via Bolo.ca from a company called Stephensons Electronics. It was very impressive how fast this big TV got delivered (via Fedex). The box didn't have any damages and the TV was in perfect condition. The company even sent me a person email after I ordered the product with some advice. I wish all companies would be like Stephensons Electronics!
Peripherals running to TV are only stereo. To get 5.1 you need to run through a receiver.
Love the TV. No apparent problem with brightness, although it is glorious in a darkened room. Sound from the TV is excellent, but if you want full 5.1 or 7.2 you will want to run Blu-ray players etc. through your receiver although TV will act as a really good center channel in this case. Remote is nice, but lacks controls for shows recorded on your DVR.
Buyer Beware! Lack of quality control on the A95K
Sony could not be bothered by their lack of quality control on this "flagship" model. Permanent scuffs and bubbles on the anti-reflective screen, chip on the aluminum frame right out of the box! How can this be branded a "Master Series" quality product let alone a "Sony" ? This is totally unacceptable. A film screen protector could have easily prevented the screen damage, something other brands have been doing on their OLEDs. Sony is using the "eco" friendly excuse to save a few cents per TV at the expense of a damaged product that will be shipped back to their warehouse (think carbon emissions, wasted energy, time). Many others have reported the same problem so this is not an isolated incident, and no, it wasn't mishandled by the customer. Please check out AVSForum for other examples of manufacturing defects on this model.Bolo is kindly processing the return for me, kudos to the rep for the excellent customer service.
