So, a friend talked me into doing my own pool filter service.This HTH 67121 Swimming Pool Care D.E. Filter Aid from the HTH Store, along with some lube, was exactly what was required to do the job.Of course a little blood, seat and tears, thanks to that band, to get to the filter panels, and taking some time to hose the crud off, then you should know, or at least be able to look up the amount, in lbs, of the DE you would need for your application. In my case, this 10 lbs box will handle 2 services. So conveniently packed in 2 - 5 lb bags, I will be able to store the other half until the next service.pH and related levels are all up to snuff... so ... huh oh, looks like my pool service dude is gonna be out of a job!!
