Overnight he went from a skinny little kid to a very heavy one. Unfortunately they have been unable to reduce the dosage of his medication so he has not been able to lose the extra weight. His self esteem was pummeled and he was teased mercilessly.I can’t tell you how thrilled he was with these “normal kids “ shorts. He is so proud — I ordered several more pairs. Before this I was doing stuff like trying to adjust the elastic waist in grown men’s basketball shorts.I think it’s so important for kids who are overweight for any reason to feel good about themselves. And these are not just “big” shorts — every stitch in them is quality, and they wash like a dream.Little kids shouldn’t be “fat shamed”. Growing up is hard enough. When we see an overweight kid, we shouldn’t make unkind and uninformed assumptions about how they got that way.I am so happy Bolo carries these shorts — I just wish they had a bigger selection in Boys Huskies!

My son is 6 and is slightly petite for his age, but not small. Size 5 in these shorts fit him perfectly in the waist and in length. It's always hard to buy pants/shorts for him online but these turned out great! Very cute too.

Wow, these pants are so nice, comfy they are lot of pockets around, well made. Fit well for my future kindergarter .☆ He almost 5 yrs old in a few days,He is 33 lbs. Oh yes He is tiny one lol . I bought 3 of them as size 4 . Fit well, the price is great too.BTW i noticed that the dark green color in the middle ( plz see in the pics)is longer than other but it's fine. I was looking for pants that my kid will use for this upcoming school year, So this is it. I'll buy more .

I will be keeping these. They seem well-made and appear to be a true size 12. A couple of notes for anyone interested...I do wish the elastic waist was just a bit softer. also, the cargo pockets secure on one side with velcro but do not completely open at the top...there is an upside and a downside to that. They are still functional for most things a child would put into a pocket...or at least SHOULD put into a pocket. The material is a good weight, not too thin, and the color is just as shown.

I got these for my son’s school concert. Usually he complains about wearing anything but sports clothes.!!! It’s also hard to find his size because he’s in between right now.. THEY run true to size!!! I got his normal size but slim fit, because he’s tall but small around the waist. I noticed there was also husky size available and regular as well. They’re very affordable. He actually wore them and did not complain.:) They looked great on him. Good quality/ price !!! WIN WIN ❤️
