This camera is exactly identical to my Vava babycam and syncs up to monitor with ease. Wish I would have saved myself the money and bought this originally with Vava monitor!

Got this to add another camera to the current baby monitor as another little one is on the way. Easy setup and worked great linking it up, so now i have two cameras hooked up to one baby monitor. Arrived in great condition.

I bought a new Hipp monitor for baby #2 recently to go with the original VAVA monitor/display. The temperature sensor on the new one was oscillating 4 degrees difference (was it 76 in the room or 80?! No one knows!) and I reached out to VAVA customer service. I sent a video, then sent in the old camera and they immediately sent me a new one.This one still oscillates by 1 degree but I figure that’s much better and it doesn’t bother me so much!Otherwise we have liked the camera/monitor system and it has pretty good night vision.It was too loud even on lowest volume setting when positioned right above my kiddo’s crib as an infant so I covered the speaker with tape, but now that it’s hanging wall mounted across the room it’s not an issue.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this additional camera for my setup.. immediately after plugging it in I noticed the temperature bouncing around anywhere from 1 degree to 9 degrees (it will say 71 then 80 and do that constantly), the audio indicator on the monitor shows in the red constantly meaning it's too loud, the moon night vision icon is constantly going on and off no matter if it's day or night, and has had trouble staying connected. I contacted VAVA about it and they sent a replacement off brand(HIPP) that is doing the exact same thing. After going back and forth 40x's they told me to just buy a new camera and monitor set and that the camera i bought is out of warranty which isn't true because I filled out the warranty registration for both of the new cameras they sent both times. It covers for 18months after purchase. The support person I've been in contact with has been incredibly unhelpful and now I'm stuck with the camera that doesn't work. I loved VAVA and recommended them to everyone that has kids but no more. They truly let me down. 10/10 would not recommend buying this camera. They are defective and Vava will not take responsibility for it.

I have the monitor and another camera for my older child and just needed another camera. I love that you can just add on to them. I will say I think the add on camera is a little more than I would have liked to spend but its better than getting a whole new set. Everything is really easy to use and set up. When you have more than one camera, you can either switch back and forth between them yourself or there is an option to have it change between them. Its like every 30 secs or so... not exactly sure on the time.
