Anyone who has done a pour over knows how bad the first picture is I attached. There is almost always a huge crater in the middle. It’s okay for one cup of coffee. The picture is on a two cup setting 22g. The bed should be as flat as possible for even extraction. I don’t think I could make these craters if I tried lol.Knowing this you really need to make the settings perfect. If you don’t saturate the whole bed with water you’ll get the crater I showed. I’ve only gotten around it by setting the machine to pour so much water it’s high above the bed then seeps down. The water the drips/pour is not wide enough to touch the sides. This is the reason you have to oversaturate the bed so you can hit the edges. The second photo is what a coffee bed should look like. Nice and flat as can be. Even extraction. 4 stars because it does work well. It’s just a bad design not to hit the edges on the design.

I was trying to dehydrate onion skins and ends to make my own onion powder, but my food processor wouldn’t get it to a fine enough powder. After a little bit of research I found out a espresso grinder was the way to go.And it was! So worth the investment! The little brush (that I already lost 😂🤦🏼♀️) is perfect for cleaning out the base and lid of the grinder. To make it run you press down on the front button.I had seen some reviews where they said it runs a little loud. I assume that’s because they’re grinding beans because when I use it for dehydrated onion skins it is pretty quite for chopping something up!

Not the best coffee grinder. I feel it takes longer than usual to get proper grind. Also the way the cap is designed to go over the unit it always makes a mess coffee grinds leak out all over the table. The cap should go in the unit not over the unit like the Mr coffee. That way the coffee grinds can't leak out as you're using it
