In contrast, this moisturizer checks all the boxes for me. The inclusion of marula oil is a big plus—it keeps my skin hydrated and nourished.The formula is non-drying, has no overpowering scent, and features simple, skin-friendly ingredients. PROS: Minimalist moisturizer is lightweight, non-fragrant, great value! CONS: Face doesn't feel fully hydrated and have to apply a couple of times and there's a bit of a residual feeling, perhaps from the hyaluronic acid. ELABORATION: Minimalist is my mantra, and my approach to most aspects of life, especially skin care. My routine consists of washing my face with a gentle exfoliator and applying facial moisturizer and a touch of eye make-up (mainly to avoid stares and questions of concern about whether I'm getting enough sleep). In my 45+ years, I have yet to find the perfect moisturizer. I would give this one about an 8 out of 10. Most facial moisturizers "for sensitive skin" and I've tried at least a dozen, start out promising, but then after about 3-4 days, my skin starts to feel itchy, which means there's an ingredient that doesn't agree with my face. Other moisturizers are too thick and leaves my face feeling like rubber, UGH! and still others are too soupy with barely any benefit. My budget and sensibilities won't justify spending a fortune on 2-ounce bottles of moisturizer every other week. Overall, I like it, but still looking for that must-have facial moisturizer.

I ordered this because I wanted a moisturizer with oil in it, and I thought it would be minimal ingredients, but that turned out not to be the case. I like to know ALL the ingredients in the products I buy so I try to post photos from the products I receive. You can see the list above. The moisturizer feels good going on, and gives just enough oil to keep my skin from feeling dry without a really shiny oily sheen. The 3 stars are for too many ingredients, many not healthy for your skin.

This is one of my very top moisturizers! It leaves your skin feeling hydrated without being super greasy, it’s lightweight but very effective, it lasts a long time, and the price is amazing!

This isn’t quite moisturizing enough for a night cream for me by itself, but I’m loving it as a day cream. It’s very light and has a nice texture. I put this on and let it soak in for a minute, and then I put biore aqua rich watery essence (spf 50) over it. The two together give me sun protection and moist skin to start the day all for about $20 for both of them. Also neither of them irritates my sensitive skin. The combo is hard to beat!

I found this cream to be cost effective. I have combination skin type but found in winter my skin to be drier than usual, so i decided to try this cream. It is lightweight, skin did not break out and it gave a natural glow and well moisturised healthy look to my skin.
