These are a great backup. Taste not bad. No nicotine or tar. Helps when I really need a cigarette
1.0 out of 5 stars Awful smell and taste
It has a very unpleasant taste a type of burnt mint
4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good!
Three sort of downsides (1)the primary taste is not herbal or lemon, it is minty, which I wasn’t expecting. I was not a menthol cigarette smoker so I would have preferred something in non menthol, but it’s not horrible (2)they burn very fast imo (3)more expensive than standard pack of smokes. With those 3 things taken into consideration, they’re not bad overall and I suspect they will help with quitting smoking, so I will likely buy another ‘flavor’ in the future.
3.0 out of 5 stars They are kinda yucky. But don't burn as fast as others, burn more like a regular cigarette
Since I quit tobacco cigarettes, using the patch and gum, I also want to have something to smoke that resembles a cigarette. I've tried many different brands of tea cigarettes. Squeeze the filter tip to make the "flavor" come out. But it's not that great. Actually I am editing this a little bit. Definitely not quite as yucky if you don't squeeze the little flavor bubble thingy in the filter. But yeah, still pretty yuck.I kinda wonder what these are even made of. Considering other brands actually say the ingredients on them. Or at least say that they are made of tea on the carton , These are made of "herbs."They burn, and pack like a cigarette though. I tried the cocoa bean ones from a different company and I like those better, but the way they burn is dangerous unless you are doing it over the sink. Even if you pack them pretty hard. But they don't taste as much like like burning garbage as these do. Or when you squeeze the filter tip until you hear a snap, it's like lemony garbage. If they didn't make me dizzy and actually listed ingredients, I would probably buy more cause I have been cig free for almost 2 months now and just sometimes I need the hand to mouth thing which is a hard habit to break. And then these things burn more normally, so I am not dropping ash and slices of burnt cocoa bean all over the place. So I will give them that.So I'm still getting that for now with things like this. Kinda like I have been cleaning with lemon ammonia or something and it got on my hands while I'm smoking. But at least I don't have to worry about burning the house down because they ash and burn like a real cigarette. The cocoa bean ones, although better, flake burning product everywhere. Which does not go out on it's own. So every time you ash into the ashtray, you will leave big flakes of burning cocoa bean. These don't do that. Obviously still put these out. But they do go out when you put them out.But I would like to know what the ingredients are of these . Sometimes I feel dizzy afterwards. I tried to look at the website, but it didn't give me any information on them. But apparently the company makes a lot of these things in different flavors or whatever. Maybe they will help me get over the want to smoke something. Because they are just pretty gross. If they made them in vanilla or cherry or orange perhaps I would try that. I'd say they are Worth a shot anyway. Because I still haven't smoked a real cigarette for a while. When I feel like I want to, I grab one of these. It helps me get over wanting to smoke, and then maybe it will help me with quitting smoking anything. Maybe I am just getting to the point where smoking anything is gross. They are still obviously bad for you. But it is helpful for quitting nicotine.Although since they don't put any information about ingredients, I wonder. If you're like me and trying a bunch of different things like this to help with the journey of quitting smoking, I would say try them cause everyone is different. Out of all the ones that I have tried, these burn more like a regular one. And then they don't stink as much as some of the others. I had some that smelled and tasted like incense or clove cigs. If you are just jumping from pack to pack on here trying to get one that will help, at least get one. And see.Now I'm curious about the menthol ones cause maybe they just taste minty. As opposed to feeling like fiberglass is being inhaled.Good luck on your quitting journey.
5.0 out of 5 stars Love These Lemon Flavored Herbal Cigarettes
I am trying to stop smoking again and this time, rather than go cold turkey, I thought I'd try some herbal cigarettes without tobacco or nicotine. These are better for me and much less expensive as I no longer could afford $16.50 a pack of Parliments. I am doing well, no tobacco or nicotine in my cig for about 2-1/2 to 3 months now. These lemon cigs have flavoring in the filter which is a really cool idea. Wish they were sold in a carton vs. single packs of 20 cigs. Thank you for providing me with a healthier and tasty alternative!
2.0 out of 5 stars These are not for the faint of heart
The smell did not linger but was potent. The taste was a bit strong
5.0 out of 5 stars Alternative smokes
It must've been so good, the coworker I got them for immediately smashed one up in a cup of water and gave it a nicotine test, which of course came back negative. The tests look for a metabolite in your system and not actual nicotine, so I didn't bother to correct him...
1.0 out of 5 stars A no go for me....
**Please note these are only my personal thoughts and comments & I in no way mean to insult or disregard anyone else's who liked this product 🙂.**However....Personally, I found these Absolutely Disgusting. I also ordered them in the original flavor which I haven't received yet so I don't know if they'll be any better. I really hope they are.The taste is basically like lighting a lemon peel packed with tea leaves, & a few other herbs & flowers like rose & mint.I also noticed these apparently aren't free of tar? So I was confused by that as all the other non-tobacco types were nicotine and tar free. Hopefully someone can explain this to me, Lolol 😄.LadyAnne ^^ö^^*& BabyBat too*
