The media could not be loaded. Easy to assemble but not very sturdy. Came damaged on corners the top looks to have bubbled up like water damage. Will have to paint to cover those imperfections. Not worth the price.

This mantle was perfect for the fireplace I wanted to build! We did have to cut it down a bit because it was so tall but that was pretty easy. There were some imperfections and dents on it but I sanded it down anyways so it was okay. Overall a great mantle!

Very easy to assemble. The pieces don’t line up well to make clean lines, but if you manipulate them before tightening the bolts fully they get pretty close. There are small (1/4”) feet on the bottom of the surround which I removed for a cleaner transition to the floor. You definitely get what you pay for, so if you are trying to get an easy new look this could be your piece. Don’t expect perfection or great quality, but I was happy with the final results at the price.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:On paper, this was exactly what I needed. Perfect length & height. But for the price, it shouldn’t have come as damaged as it did.

I’m a big fan of Creative Co Op and own several pieces made by them, I was super excited to give this mantle a try as I loved the modern - minimalistic look of it.I honestly was pretty surprised when I saw the condition of the mantle, as you can see in my 2nd photo, there are several areas where it looks like damage was patched and sanded but not painted? It’s rough and scratchy feeling and not smooth like the rest of the mantle. These areas are large and hard to hide. The corners of the mantle looked warped and nicked also. (See 3rd photo)So needless to say, I’m pretty bummed about the quality and condition of what I received.This is the first time I’ve been disappointed with a creative co op design. Unfortunately this isn’t something I can recommend.

This came in 3 separate pieces. This is not all wood but hallow particle board. The corners of each had chips on paint peeling off and lots of dents. You could probably find someone to build you a quality piece for similar costs. This looks and feels like cheap cheap quality. Very disappointed. We are afraid to even touch it as the painted boards peel so easy.
