Took 15 minutes to pull the old one out, install the new parts and fine tune. The only tool I needed was an adjustable wrench to loosen the old nut. Works great and the instructions are really good, plenty of pics and info on adjusting the tank water height and bowl water height. Don’t over tighten the nut! Hand tight then add a half turn!

Easy to install and very adjustable to increase flushing power and/or toilet water height. Inexpensive but the plastic is durable enough to hold up for years.I’ve installed this same model in numerous toilets and have never worried about their quality.

Fluidmaster toilet valve refill has a long history of offering a good product at a reasonable price for the "do it yourselfer." Once installed they work perfectly with no running. Now, there is one thing I need to caution you about. These kits have different sizes on the toilet flapper so please make sure you order a kit with the right size flapper. Unfortunately, I was not aware of there being different size flappers I had to make a quick run to a box hardware store to get the right size flapper. Otherwise, no leakage, quality, water saver, and durability all in one unit.

Fluidmaster K-400H-039 High Performance Toilet Fill Valve with 2-Inch Adjustable Toilet Flapper Kit arrived as pictured and described with no surprises, thank you. These are good replacement fill valve kits. This one ha a flapper specifically for the 2" diameter tube. If you're not sure which kit you need to order, simply measure your pipe diameter under the flapper valve in your toilet with a measuring tape. It'll either be 2" or 3" in diameter. These are easy to install and the included hardware does not require any tools for installation. You simply tighten the connections by hand with your hand. You can easily adjust the water level in the tank up or down without any tools required as well. These last very well. My area has very hard water and is prone to calcium/lime buildup so I usually get around 5 years out of these valves. Which reminds me, while you're doing this replacement it's a great time to pour in some vinegar to your tank and the tank drain to keep everything working as it should. The vinegar will safely dissolve/remove any calcium/lime buildup from the tank and the bowl drain area (this also cures slow flushing toilets due to calcium/lime deposits). And it's only a few bucks per gallon. Anyone can do this replacement, if you're a first timer, watch a few videos before you begin and you'll ace the install like a pro.

I’m always leery about buying non-manufacturer parts (aftermarket) but this one fit perfect. Easy to install and easy to adjust after installed. I didn’t need the flapper, just the float mechanism but it was a great deal for both and I couldn’t turn it down.
Undoubtebly the best.
They have Yoube videos for the fill valve, flapper model specific you must review for all the adjustments.
