This little tool kit has most of your basics for beginning wire wrapping projects! I would also buy an end cutter and nylon pliers as well though! The copper wire really came in handy to just mess with and get the hang of manipulating wire etc. It’s a good buy and the tools are decent quality. See the pictures of my first projects done with this kit above! The pendants I made came out well and I incorporated the copper wire that came in this kit. I also added in the thicker titanium wire I got from my local hobby store. I love the fact that it comes with the ring sizers as well. I didn’t plan on getting into ring making but if I do I’m set! See picture of the additional cutter/nylon pliers that would come in handy if you’re looking for all the essentials. I bought those from Bolo as well.

I'm not sure on the exact gauge on this wire but it's very fine and bendy alumnium wire. I am ordering thicker wire. Would make more sense to include a range of gauges than multiple colors for a starter pack. The photo of the ring is deceiving, it's really flimsy due to the wire gauge and it needs to be work hardened, which you can't do with this kit. I used four wires to make the band.I just finished a metalsmithing class want to try wire wrapping to build some skills. I'd like to eventually have a metalsmithing set up but I don't have the proper space right now. The tools seem OK but small. The ring mandrel is mostly just good for finding on the size of a ring, not for shaping a ring or work hardening a ring. Everything doesn't fit in the case which is frustrating. There is no need for pliers with this wire because it's too fine.Anyway ordering a ring mandrel and some thicker gauge wire. If I was to do this again I would probably not order this set.

Perfect for people learning
All tools are included. Good quality tools although designed for beginners. Wire included is easy to work with but the coating does rub off easily so mostly use it for practice jewellery. I recommend also buying some glass beads if your making rings. Make sure to watch videos. I’ve been watching for a while and finally got to try it out so I had a good knowledge of what to do but others should definitely watch some videos.

I've used it to repair some of my earrings, and I plan to use the wire for rock wrapping eventually. Great quality, I just wish there was another pair of pliers.
