The ability to keep this tethered to the USB-C cable is worth the cost difference. Charged lots of things with this, so far no issues.

I wished I had discovered this a couple of years ago. I wouldn't had to use two different cables to charge my old Fire tablets and my new Fire tablets. The adapter has a small cable that attaches to my new Fire tablet cable so all i have to do is insert the adapter into my old Fire Tablet charging port and then plug my new Fire tablet cable into the adapter. I now only have a single cable to charge all my Fire tablets, old or new!!

I bought these because I needed a connector for the chargers…Thanks to Apple changing the cables needed! Instead of buying all new chargers, I bought these. Works perfectly! I have some older Apple equipment that still use the other slot. So pleased to buy these and not a whole new set of chargers!!

Tossed out a bunch of micro usb cables and use this instead!
Everything is USB C now, but I have older still useful devices that I still need to use sometimes. Instead of having a bunch of different cables I just use these and attach them using the provided leash to my usb c cables for the best of both charging worlds.

These work great on a variety of my accessories. I have one in my truck, one in my bedroom, and one in my office.Connection is snug and works great.
