I really enjoyed this workbook. It had a balance of reading and "audience participation" that I enjoyed and felt was very well done. The only critique I'd put forward is the lack of editing. There were many grammatical errors to the point where it was distracting.

This book lacks editing; words used incorrectly, sentence structure hard to follow. The content seemed more like the author’s hurtful experiences and ranting, rather than helpful guidance to recover from codependency. The author uses a lot of absolute statements and harsh judgments. Not helpful.

If you are a people person, this is the workbook for you. I have always felt the need to say yes and be available to help anyone around me. This workbook has helped me set up boundaries and that it's ok to say no. I have the kindle version, so I couldn't write in the book, so I just wrote in a journal/notebook.

The media could not be loaded. I must say. This is one of the best recovery books I’ve every read. I came across this book wanting to see if I could have a book of healing. This is the perfect book for me being able to recover from being codependent and learning how to navigate through my emotions. It also highlight things such as abandonment, self esteem building and more. Very relatable and very helpful. :)

I saw the reviews saying it had questionable writing and I bought it anyway. Big mistake! The examples don't make sense with the questions they want you to answer. The grammar is so bad that it's hard to read. I tried so hard to get past the terrible writing and lack of editing but the content itself doesn't make sense because its so poorly written.

In this manual, the meaning of co-dependency, i.e. being obsessively and sickly dependent on someone, is first explained. This mental/emotional state can occur on any interpersonal level, although it is commonly referred to as addiction or affective codependency. The guide analyses the mechanisms and the type of person who is capable of creating the dependency.A series of exercises and practices make it possible to recognise if one is subject to this form of manipulation, recognising codependency, which is then the first step to freeing oneself from this toxic form of 'relationship'. The publication is divided into 3 books. The second book is dedicated to gradual healing and the third book is solely dedicated to mental and subconscious reset. The publication is written in a therapeutic manner and is easy and simple to read. I recommend it to those who want to learn about the subject, but also to those who think they are in such a relationship and wish to defend themselves against it.

This book is so poorly written that it's impossible to read. The spelling and grammar is so terrible that I had difficulty understanding what the writer was trying to say. The structure of the book is hard to follow and the activities don't relate enough to the topic of the book. The chapters throughout the book aren't structured in a way that makes sense, and the book doesn't really say anything solid. Not helpful. Would not recommend at all.

I have read many self-help books but this one in particular has helped me to better understand codependency and how to start the recovery process. I know perfectly well that codependent relationships are difficult to break, even after years of pleasing a narcissist or manipulator and reading it has led me to ask myself many questions and give myself answers.
