The pros:It delivers a nice powerful heat without being too loud, this was a definite must have for me. It's one of the quieter dryers I've used. It's a decently weighted dryer, not too heavy. I definitely wouldn't call it lightweight, but I can use it easily. The heat and air strength is ideal for me, it doesn't feel damaging on my hair and it still gets the job done.The cons:The heat powers and speeds may as well not exist. You're just paying for "hot, slightly less hot, and slightly even less hot". Cool is a joke. There's barely a difference. The buttons are also thick and blocky and placed right where you'll be holding them. I'm constantly fumbling between the settings cause these are CLUNKERS. This is NOT an ergonomic design at all. Honestly it's basically a marketing illusion of choice that's more inconvenient than useful.The cool shot button IS nice but if it could actually lock in place that'd be even better. You have to constantly hold it if you want anything other than hot air. At least it DOES deliver a true cold, which is the main thing I wanted.Would I buy this again? No, but it's a hassle to return just because I was fooled into the prospect of heat button customization. It's quiet, the air strength and heat are just right, and if you really want cold air you can just hold down the cold button until your wrist aches.It's "good enough for the price".

This was a great product for the price. It makes me wonder why all of those other hair dryers are so expensive. This one does what it needs to, has a couple of different settings, and works just fine.I bought it to de-thaw frozen water hoses or dry off cold wet horses, but I'm sure it would work fine as a hair dryer as well. Really, if all you need is something basic that just does the job and does it well, I'd think this is the way to go.

Preferred my previous connair model. It too had 2 buttons to choose power and heat levels, but the coolest option on this still has heat. Somewhat noisy, not heavy to hold, dries hair adequately.
