5.0 out of 5 stars Nice quality, tasty
I have been enjoying making my own flatbreads with this, if I had known how easy it was I would have started years ago. This turned out to be a solid choice for my first venture, it's good quality, easy to work with and produces nice texture tasty bread.
1.0 out of 5 stars This is as good as ashirvaad or Sujata atta which is cheaper than this.
If there would be 0 star to it I would prefer that for this product, I spent $40 and I got this cheap quality atta like Sujata and ashirvaad which had all purpose atta in it, this is not different. Shame on the company or person who is selling it as whole wheat atta.I have made roti with whole wheat recently in India I know the difference.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great flour for indian flatbread
This is the first time that I used Chapati flour. I made some chapati and roti. I noticed it is fine ground and very smooth. It's not gritty like other whole wheat flours, which helps me make a perfect, soft, non-sticky dough. It was super easy to handle - I could roll out my chapatis really thin without them breaking. The flatbreads always turn out soft, easy to fold, and they puff up nicely. It was a lot, so I divided the remaining into 5 portions and vacuum-sealed them to keep the freshness and prevent bugs from getting in.
5.0 out of 5 stars Taste great.
I added a bit of salt and oil, along with warm water as required and kneaded for up to 10 minutes. I then let the dough sit covered bowl for a few hours. I was still very manageable after days of remigration or freezing and thawing. The roti came out great. I'm not used to making this, so the roti isn't exactly evenly rolled, but it got the job done. I used this for wraps and even biscuits with lighter prep. This is very tasty flour. There's plenty to last me a few months.
1.0 out of 5 stars HEALTH HAZARD ,Found baby bottles nipple inside
I opened the bag , poured some atta and “bottle nipple” dropped right from bag into my dish. I am regular buyer of this product or I was… this is so wrong. I don’t know what we have been eating for past 6-7 months, what I was feeding to my family, I am really upset and I don’t know what to do. So I am writing this comment and attaching pictures for future buyers.
5.0 out of 5 stars Roti and more
The roti did come out soft and fluffy with this flour. I appreciate the whole wheat flour made from sharbati which is somewhat sweet but nutty. I branched out and also used this chapatti flour to make cookies, pita, pancakes, and quick bread (specifically banana bread). The protein content of this chapatti flour makes it closer to bread flour than all purpose flour. I store flour in my freezer to help it last longer.
